    Here are some random thoughts:

    -I think I will take a mint bath
    -I need to go get copies of resume tomorrow
    -maybe I should use up some of those cans of mushroom soup
    -the colours in that painting are not right
    -where can I lay those books and magazines so they can dry?
    -only a little more laundry to fold
    -crowds can be fun sometimes
    -I am never bored

    Went to see Prometheus with a friend today, I was not impressed. It wasn't bad but not particularly good either. It's pretty, especially the prometheus ship itself, atmospheric, but the story was weak, a cynic might say almost none existent, as well as being full of plot hole. Yet another unremarkable summer blockbuster. I like the fancy myself a movie critics so;

    3 stars. Pros; good visual and atmosphere, strong lead characters (Dr. Elizabeth Shaw and David the android). Cons; weak ambiguous plot line, long and boring first act, every other characters but the lead.

    The tie-in with the Alien series was really forced and unappealing. So this makes Prometheus another goddamn prequel. Original thought and idea in the movie industry is sadly dead

    edit: Apparently it was hype to death as an Alien prequel. Uh, did not know that as I never pay attention to hype before seeing a movie, tv show, books or game. I just don't care ! I believe the product should stand on its own, so I never read about those. Not ever since Temple of Elemental Evil, oh boy was I disappointed about that :( At any rate it doesn't change my opinion about the movie.

    Well, tomorrow I'm off on a short road trip for an interview on Wednesday. *crossing fingers* I'm doing pretty well so far on this teacher job search: I'm averaging about an interview per week. Not bad considering the economy.

    I thought that people procrastinated by doing something FUN instead of what they really need to do. So I guess if Ragusa finds grammar exercises fun ... well hey, go for it :p.

    Nice to see you back Old One :) Were you doing something fun while you were away?

    What exactly does that mean Flix? Does that mean that you are hungry all the time because you do not have food, or that you are hungry all the time and eating too much?

    @ Dice; I was used to eating once or twice a day, max and I had to actually force myself to eat to y'know stay alive. Now I'm actually hungry and pretty much have to eat three meals a day. I'm unaccustomed to that. I'm a creature of habits and react badly to significant changes in my life. It's kinda sad that I need pharmaceutical aid to well, be normal :p -- I mean, feel the psychosis already ! :lol:

    @Ofelix
    Hey, was on anti depression meds myself for a long time and no fun at first. Glad you seem to be over starting problems. Don't give up and not quite normal is fun sometimes.

    @Dice
    Not as much fun as being here! Nasty clash with Microsoft that lasted days but at least the rest was loading and playing BG II. Got involved with a Toshiba laptop that I resurected and was given after downloading pictures for a friend who owned it. Nasty virus and other things on it. Whiped the drive and loaded\loading it up for myself. :-D

    Old one; I think you're the third person in the last week who told me they were on medication as well, somehow this makes me feel better. Much obliged :D

    I've started the laundry, the dishwasher is on, I've spend my entire morning searching for jobs, took a nice walk, just finished a delicious grilled cheese sandwich, I even swept the floor with ye olde broom (I'm not kidding my parents have the same broom since before my birth, this thing is older than me). So nothing left to do but to spend the afternoon playing xbox weee :roll: -- I have to say I do like the extra energy.
