    Yay, grammar!

    The interview went well. The bad part is that I'm cell phone challenged, and did not hear about another interview that could have happened. They called on Monday, but I didn't get the message until Tuesday afternoon. They wanted an interview on Wednesday (today). So, I called back right away, but it's been phone and e-mail tag ever since. I got an e-mail from him this morning saying he was going to call this afternoon, but, alas, no call. No further e-mail either. Too bad: it was a Middle School English position, which is what I really want.

    Well.... here it is after midnight again but I am anything but bored. In setting up my free laptop I found a whole bucket load of my "lost" music! That and a new jar of coffee, a cat to listen with me makes it nice. (I talk he listens, I think.) Love lost cds.

    @Ofelix ;-D Welcome!

    @ Flix - Do you use real cheese or those fake processed cheese slices in your grilled cheese sandwiches?

    @ Vorona - Well there is still hope that they can set up another interview :)

    @ Old One - Lost music is great. (So are free laptops.) Anything in particular that is catching your ear?

    You bet. CCR, listened to two whole cds. Found a mix of my own with a lot of 60s & 70s stuff. Nothing standing out just an all around wide collection. Not a cd either, a dvd. Rolling Stones, Cars, Doors double set, hours of good music from the past. A bit too far back for most but I like those years. Found and listened to California Dreaming for the first time since I don't remember when. Darn, ya got me started Dice, hard to stop and my age is showing again!

    4 hours until my flight out west! 11 hours from now I'll be near the lovely oil sands in Fort McMurray

    Three hours until I'll participate in a charity run with my company team. I am thoroughly untrained. I intend tom delver a respectable performance anyway. We will see how well or bad that turns out.

    When I commuted to work on the tram this morning, an absent minded wench managed to almost get herself run over when ignoring a traffic light. While she gawped at the tram, staggered, the driver unleashed upon her his righteous fury: "Stupid Cow! Watch where you walk! You want to get yourself killed?" Indeed!

    @ Old One - Sounds like you have a nice collection there :) I listen to the oldies once in a while. The Doors are pretty cool and the Stones, your music list kind of reminds me of my brothers who live close by.

    Lol LKD, yah I was going to say something along those lines. Welcome to Alberta Reep - I think more people should come here ;).

    Just found out that they'll be re-releasing TNG on blu-ray after remastering the whole series from original footage. Still 4:3, but the difference in quality is huge:

    Taluntain, wow. I loved that show.

    @Dice
    Hi lady, not a big collection just all over the place! I have teen grandkids who know the words to 50s, 60s, and 70s stuff from swipping music from me for ipods. It's funny when someone born in this century reconizes a 1969 Iron Butterfly concert when it plays.

    Hi all.

    Turns out I was wrong earlier. Thanks to a lovely two hour delay on my first flight, I missed my second flight and they rebooked me for one that leaves quite a bit later. Instead of catching a 4 PM flight out of Calgary, I only got here at 5:30 and get to wait until 12:30 before my new flight departs. Oh the joys of travel...

    Ooh, the flight sounds awful. I hope you get to your final destination without any further problems.

    I just received an interview request with several exclamation points. Unfortunately, I don't really want the job, but I do want the practice with interviews. It looks like my application is great, though, so that's a good thing!

    Hello Vorona! It's always nice to see new people here.

    In other news, I've gotten so bored with my job recently that I've began applying for scholarships all over the place. Maybe I'll get Rhodes? HAH as if that'll happen.

    Gnarf! Right on :D - Good to see an old face come back :p. Dfly here wearing a Dice suit in case you didn't recognize the name. You should join the MUG friend. That's where we talk about "Adult" stuff and swear without getting yelled at :p. You find it in the Misc Forums / BOM social groups. (Same goes for anyone else who wants to talk about things behind closed doors ;). )

    @ Vorona - It's always nice when the jobs are chasing you around instead of visa versa :) Good luck with your practice exclamation interview.
