I honestly never thought it was really possible to drink yourself sober but it would seem I did just that last night

 

Drunkness is cyclical.

 

I haven't gotten drunk in the longest time... I've got a wedding to go to on Tuesday, but it's going to have a dry bar. The fact that the bride is my ex makes me not want to go...and the fact that there's no booze *really* makes me not want to go, but the wife is making me.

I should spike the punch.

 

The bride is your ex and your wife is making you go?

Bizarre if you ask me. We actually had a wedding on at my work some months back where the marriage was set to take place in someone's back yard and the reception where I work but the bride had a bust-up with the head bridesmaid who just happened to be an ex of the groom...

 

She is also my wife's best friend...and since my wife is *in* the bridal party, I have to go. The ex in question was also Jessica's maid of honor at our wedding. I just can't get rid of this chick!

 

Ooh 'eck, fingers crossed all goes well, not unexpected hiccups...

I must say though that the pair I referred to had the entire Bridal Party, most of the Reception decorations and whatever else they thought they could get away with, all in black. A very morbid bunch. I daresay though that no-one involved in this wedding on Tuesday is that morbid...

 

Stefanina, very sorry. I've been to a funeral this week too, not for someone I was close to, though.

It is very cold here, low this morning was 8 F, which is about -13 C, and right now at about 10:00 PM it's already down to 13 F, -11 C. Ugh. Brilliantly clear sky, though, with bright moon sailing alongside Orion.

Ah, well, babble, if only to make sure RB is the top post in Whatnots. Always kind of bothers me when I log on and some other thread has the most recent post.

 

The wind here was quite raw. I had to walk three blocks to get some lunch and it was into the wind. By the time I got back to Church, I looked quite red in the face...

 

So much to do.

College starts today, it's about bloody time! I was so bored the past two days. Wow, it's me last semester before University

 

Oh crap, my landlord's coming in on Wednesday to see what sort of repairs need to be done to the house and it's a frickin disaster zone!

 

Waking up at 6:45AM for a STUPID English class does not make me a happy camper. At least there's a cute blue haired, jet-black eyed (two colors I'm absolutely nuts for) chick in my class.

Man, so f****** tired. Worst, I have to head back to college in an hour or so for another 2 hour shot. Hey, at least tomorrow starts at 10AM, and got Thursday off.

 

Damn glasses are giving me headaches. Like the fever wasn't enough.

ION, I just figured out who'd be perfect to play Barney in HL2 movie (if there ever was one), Ron Livingston. Even his voice fits.

 

We had a 'diversity' day at school for MLK day... we didn't say much that hadn't already been said, so I would have rather had time to get all the work done that I need to get done.

I haven't been around here often recently...

DotW: Age is not an issue unless she's underage Nah, I'm just kidding. 6 years is already a generation gap in this day and age - kinda like dating someone who could have been your daughter, your mindsets are possibly so different.

I forgot that yesterday was my 15 month anniversary with my girlfriend, and I just remembered this morning, and immediately SMSed her. I wonder what's the fallout going to be from this one..
