My opinion: Your punctuation needs improvement. Badly. :p Seriously. :p Do you speak that way? Or rather: Doyouspeakthatway?

The free spaces have the purpose of structuring written text for potential readers. They are to be used between words and after punctuation (indicated by signs like "," and "." or "!", "?" and ";" or ":" and even "-") - you will by now have noticed that these marks usually are positioned after the last letter of the last word of the sentence that you have finished, followed by a space to separate it from the next. <- Much like this.

Amazingly, new sentences (and names) start with capital letters.

For advanced writers, the availability of breaks to structure texts even further opens up new options of expression.

I'm finding that I have too many books too. Moving has a way of making one realize that as wonderful as books are they can also be a pain in the butt. My collection was severely purged recently when I boxed them in preparation for our move. I sold some at a garage sale and others I donated to the local library book sale. Compact Discs are a pain too. I ended up with 5 boxes worth when I packed them up. Haven't been able to bring myself to get rid of any of those yet, however.

'Tis a good day for Trell. Trell won't maim or behead anyone today. Trell's a good boy. "Who's a good boy?" Trell's a good boy.

/me pats Trell on the head.

@revmaf: Flix is right. If you are feeling like you have too many books, it is a sign that you need to get more storage space, not throw books away. :p

Never fear, SPers, no books will be thrown away. Some will be sent to a young relative living on her own for the first time who shares similar reading interests but has no money for books and owns few of them. We don't have a library fundraising sale around here - that would be perfect if we did - but some more will go to a charity, if I can find one to take them. And I may be able to unload a few of them at one of the used book stores in Knoxville.

And most of them, in all honesty, will be boxed up and put in the garage. I'll get rid of some of the things there now to make room.

    Like the car. :rolling:

Professor Layton and the curious village's puzzles aren't easy at all!

And for anyone who's wondering, the job I applied was some kind of warehouse thing, basically get stuff out and in, and sometimes bringing stuff to customer's car. It's a housewares store, bed, tables, chairs etc. Things you would find in a house...

I figured at my age and without any real diploma it wasn't bad, plus the pay is a little higher than the minimum wage. I'm not planning the stay here forever, but in the mean time it's going to be enough.

    dragon3,
when I comment on punctuation it is not so much because I want to be a jerk, but because your texts are a capital PAIN to read. There are foreign language speaking kids here who do a better job at writing in English, and I trust you can do that as well, with some minimum effort.

Today I'll get my eyes checked again, my current glasses aren't strong enough. Meh, And since I'm older than 18 I can't pass the examination and the glasses on my parent's insurance. At least Mother told me she would help, since money is tight. Well not really "tight" more "I want to save it for university".

Oh, yeah, Flix, I know that one. I went without new glasses for a long time in my twenties until my parents offered to help me out. Even now I can just barely afford them. (Hmm, that reminds me, need to get checked.)

Bright sunny morning here, once the fog burned off. Supposed to feel more like spring temperature-wise, too.

Me, I'm still sorting books and the occasional knick-knack. I have a place that will take the knick-knacks, a local charity that will either sell them in their thrift shop or use them for prizes in the booth they have at the county fair later this year. The books: still casting about for a good home for some of them.

Also the kitchen needs a good cleaning, and the bedroom, and the bathroom . . . must be the slight whiff of spring in the air.

AND - only a week until stupid Daylight Saving Time (note the correct use without the "s" in Daylight) takes effect here in the good old, self-deluded U.S. of A.

I'd rather be fooling around on the computer but I'd better get back to work. :(

So, the rest of you babble for me, eh?
