This is definitely coming up in the world.

It is raining again and the outside heat/air unit is within a fraction of an inch of flooding out at my house. I've called the landlord and his handyman is supposed to come dig a trench. Meanwhile I've pulled the circuit breaker on the blasted thing.

    BTW, 38 F outside - I think that's about 3 C - so it's not a wonderful time to have no heat.

Am I in a good mood? Not.

Well, the rest of you babble; I'll take my mood away and sulk.

I did it again, I've forgot to eat because I was playing Civilisation IV. I noticed it was 13h00 and that I hadn't ate in 20 hours. Thing is, I only wanted to finish this war... The war started at 11h00. Things got complicated when this turned out to be a world war. But I was victorious!

I "liberated" the Babylonians, now they've access to universal suffrage, universal health care, free education, and freedom of speech. Only, everything belong to the state now. And now my virtual nation has a worldwide monopoly on oil and coal, well a quasi monopoly.

I basically made Marx's utopian vision a reality...in Civ IV.

God this game is awesome!

Uh? It's 4C here and I certainly don't heat in my room, in fact the only place "heated" here is the kitchen. 3C ain't cold :p

Edit: My sister came buy tonight, and she had big news she's pregnant :D

Flix - next time hit the pause button, run to the kitchen and grab a bowl of cereal, and run back to the computer. I'm sure world domination can hold for 3 min while you grab a little nutritional sustanence. :p

On Civ IV, I started out in an atempt to beat an 18 civ Standard Pangea with each leader (but a random Civ). Starting alphabetically, I got my win with Asoka earlier this week, but after struggling hardcore with Augustus Ceaser, I decided on a break and went back to Medieval II...

I'm in the mood for shrieking my guts out, playing some bass and having a row of tequila shots...

The problem? My old BM band broke up. My bass desperately needs new strings, and opening my tequila is a big no-no, since I decided to let her age a few years.

:nono: Bass does never need new strings. Same with electric guitar, since the voice doesn't remarkably change in either of them. You can still hear all the harmonics, pops, slaps and tapping noises. The voice isn't maybe as sharp/clear, but putting it through an amp hides a lot.

Well, got the heat back on. Maybe I'm a wuss but I do like heat in cold weather.

We also have about 3 inches of snow so far and it's still snowing. I am supposed to go to Knoxville for a major dinner tonight but after watching the last couple of folks trying to drive up the hill by my house fail to do so I have a feeling the dinner will have to do without me.

DST returns tonight, Congressional delusions of grandeur leading us to lose 1 hour overnight. :nolike:

But for now I can sit inside and sip my tea and watch the snow come down.

Now. now I never said anything of the sort :p I was merely...surprised, that someone would consider this temperature "cold". However a cup of tea sounds like a wonderful idea, I think I shall do the same.

    babble on!

Yes it does need new strings when two of them have broken.

I just got back from the concert...and I'm deaf. We got really good seats, not too close to the speakers, but close enough. Linkin Park kicked arse! The only crappy part of the concert was trying to find parking for a sold out show, and the fact that we had to sit through Coheed and Cambria before Linkin Park came on...

    Use the remaining two. :p

I didn't sleep all night, again. But I did develop huge backstories for the duo of my next BGtutu multiplayer run.
