So, my Rogue dropped down to a whopping 1hp, while paralysed. He survived though - Always does Also decked the party Cleric. Oops.

 

Finally managed to move all my stuff back into the house. My room took some amount of cleaning!

 

Shocking: I was just browsing the Pure Pwnage fora and saw a thread along the lines of "Best RPG Ever" and only BG2 got mentioned and that only once...that's just wrong. And I feel old now.

You tell me, in all of my classes I'm pretty much the oldest, and I'm not even 20 yet.

Yesterday I went to see my friends' theatre play, I was surprised of one of my friend's performance. Considering it was his first play ever and the whole thing was in alexandrine. If you're wondering the play was Corneille's L'illusion comique (the comedic illusion -? not sure if it's an adequate translation)

 

3.5 has too many rules for my small head.

It's 4 am and I've just given up on a tower shield. You can't bash with it.

Those involved will understand.

Loreseeker: They can be used for a bash in a "death from above" manouvre--where you jump over a ledge, sit on the shield and try to land on your target. One of my players loves that move...

 

Actually managed to game for the first time in three weeks on Friday. I think we're getting the hang of things. This has not been an easy game to start up, since I had only met the other players in 1 in November and 2 in January. We're getting to know each other as people, as well as trying to get used to each others' playing styles.

 

Still going through stuff in boxes. I guess I can't complain since my husband is doing most of the work. I can't believe how many journals I wrote when I was younger. I took a bunch of paperbacks to wee-book-inn today and got $21 so at least my junk is worth something. Now I have to visit our local vintage music store and see if they want any of my old tape collection.

Learning all the AC/DC songs you wanted wouldn't have taken long- surely you only really need to learn one song and the add different words to it?

 

Except for Thunderstruck, yeah. All of them have some combination of D, E, A & G chords (with the occasional B somewhere) and a solo. The bass is even simpler, same one note for the whole song.

In other news...my AC system is busted...we came home and even though I set it to "cool" it was blowing hot air...we were only gone for 2 hours, and it went from 70 degrees to 87 degrees. The outside unit was humming like it should, but the fan wasn't spinning. Once it cools down, I'm going to take a look and see if the motor is fried. We've got a killer Cinco de Mayo party planned for tomorrow...so I hope we can get this damn thing fixed soon...we don't want to cook our guests, although with the amount of alcohol we have, some of them might taste pretty good with some BBQ sauce...

 

My back is the worst it's been in three weeks. I didn't make it to church yet again...
