My parents had a massive comforter meant for a Cal. King sized bed, and my mom would make me put the duvet back on for her...so I would crawl in to the duvet and pull the comforter in...but then, that was when I was a lot younger and smaller. These days, I find it's easier to make someone else do it. :p

Try turing the duvet inside out, then grab the two corners of the comforter from within the duvet, and then wriggle your way out from underneath, it works every time...if you do it right. :D :rolling:

I had no idea there were so many ways to change a duvet cover.
I hope, Gnarf, that you can get your painkillers as you need them. I am so irritated with the current drug paranoia that makes it hard for patients in pain to get their properly prescribed medication. :almostmad:

ION, 15 day to the beginning of my six week leave!!!

I'm actually thinking about ordering those Dungeons & Dragons 4th core books. And new dice. Those PA & PvP podcasts have completely brainwashed me.

Funny, I'm just setting that up as a site poll question for the next couple of weeks (i.e. are you going to buy the 4e manuals). If you do buy from Amazon, don't forget to use an SP link. ;)

 And which :geezer: SP'er forgot all about the SP link on her last two Amazon orders?

Bless me, Tal, for I have sinned. I will do better next time.

Fortunately I didn't spend much money so SP didn't lose out on much.

I have just discovered that my new paintbrush is almost an impressive 11.5 inches long, only 7/16 of an inch is bristles. This gets more amusing when you realise I'm using it to paint Warhammer- none of the models are even close to the brush in size!

Decados: Good luck with painting them.

    Magister: Yay for the motherboard!

ION: Tomorrow, I'm hoping to do some RP before lunch :) , which will hopefully make me less nervous about the exam thingy I have the next day...

However, this particular stress release tactic has been failing me for the past few weeks... :p (meaning that my notebooks are filled with NPCs and plots)

Woa, yesterday I was at the drug store looking for some eye drops, I noticed they had computer software; I picked up master of Orion 3 at 9 bucks. I didn't know much about the game except some vague comment on how it's something like Civilisation but in space. Meh, it was less than 10$.

You sure you didn't just walk half blind into a game store and ask for some eye drops, and then the puzzled shop clerk gave you some from his own stash? :p

[IMG] My grandma complimented me on how I looked today, she seemed quite proud of me which was really lovely. My uncle made jokes about me being a punky girl though :shake:

Went out and bought some copper wire, reindeer moss, paintbrushes, Green Stuff and foamboard today. I'm going to make scenery

There is an outside chance my Codeine supply could last until Wednesday morning, which is good because I didn't get a fresh bottle today...

Just try to sleep through Canada Day Gnarf - then maybe you can stretch your painkiller supply.

Duvet? What's that? :p Seriously, there's not much call for them here in Florida. At best, I keep a light blanket on my bed during the winter. Right now, I just use the top sheet to keep the bugs off. No matter how well sealed a house you have in this state, the bugs get in. This is why I like spiders.
It's rather amusing, how little I worry about most bugs these days.

You're right about that,Stef. There's every bug in the world in this miserable state.I hate spiders, and the rotten things seems to enjoy building their webs right where i need to walk. And don't get me started on the heat and humidity. Are you getting as much rain there as we are here?It seems to pour every day lately

@Flix: If MoO3 is half as good as the previous two then it's a good buy for 9 bucks. The previous two are legendary. I still play MoO2 every now and then.

Rain yes, but rather gentle, not the torrential stuff that seems to be going on around me. I swear Gainesville lives in some sort of freak protective bubble. All the surrounding counties get pounded, and we just get steady sprinkles. It's weird.

I can handle spiders. We have a deal, spiders and I. They do not get on my body, in my bed, or in the shower and I don't kill them. It works most of the time, although one occasionally breaks the shower rule. If I see it before I turn on the water, I catch it and release it. If I discover it after I get in, it dies. Rules are rules...
