Why would you want to collide Puter banes? Instant black hole :p
You can have the chair, suit and laughter - I have no use for those.

ION, waiting is not a fun activity.

I meant "danger of getting caught by the cops and getting a criminal record" I was not referring to it's chemical effect on the human body. My bad for not being more clear.

I thought I was going to get a nice early start on my internet stuff tonight, but my ISP kicked me twice, the second time interrupted by a half hour phone call, so I'm still late on a night when I really would like to get to sleep...

That's why I love having no home phone - no stupid phone calls to slow down my Internet connection.

Who needs a home phone when I have evening/weekend minutes for a penny?

The reason we keep the home phone at my house is because cell service is non-existent if a significant storm hits the area (read, tropical storm or hurricane) When the 2004 storms hit, I could not get hold of several people because they didn't have home phones. Not that landline service is guaranteed, but it holds out better than cell service during bad weather.

Still, on a daily basis, I use my cell phone rather than home phone.

ION, I went to the beach today (nice thing about Florida) and the weather was perfect. This will likely be the last beach trip of the year, so I stretched it out to the max. I seem to have come home with one tiny sunburned spot on my shoulder, guess I didn't re-apply the sunscreen well enough there.

Home phone => /me gets internet access at her flat away from home => yay :D

    (hopefully it will happen soon...)

Other then that, phones (both cell and home ones) and I tend to avoid each other.

Disciple: You sound (maniacally) happy :p

ION: With my summer break coming to a close, weekends once again become islands of fun in the sea of RL... and this one is nearly over.

    Home phone? What's that? :p

The funny thing about a landline is that almost all landline phones require a power adapter to work...and during a storm, the power usually goes out before the phone line does.

In other news - The wife and I celebrated our anniversary tonight, even though the real date is the 16th...but we didn't want to wait for Tuesday to roll around. After dinner we went and saw Burn After Reading, which was a very odd, but funny movie. :D :rolling:

A home phone is what I have registered with my company. So this is the phone all the :flaming: [CENSURED] :flaming: telemarketers call. When the caller ID is "PPP" (Private number), I know it's likely to be a telemarketer and I use the answering machine as a secretary. ;)

My cell phone number is known only to family, friends and clients on a need-to-know basis. So telemarketers can't bother me when I'm away from home. HAH!

Damn, are we still talking about phones? Well, in my case, when I re-signed with Solo, ironically, I got my old Bell number, which my bro had used for some six months. I got that number - a couple of wrong numbers, some people looking for my bro every now and then, but overall this number was a good catch... and since we FINALLY got number portability, I'm bringing it over to Robbers. Crackberry time!

    Muhahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Well, my Sunday sucked. I was planning on sleeping until 4pm, and then spending the rest of the day with the wife up in the local canyons scoping out spots for future shoots, and once the sun had gone down, I was planning on getting really really really drunk.

Unfortunately, none of those things happened. We ended up spending the day dealing with f***ing morons! :bang: I swear, some people just need to be murdered to save others from their stupidly! :deadhorse:

In other news, Deatmage must have missed his naptime, because he's turned in to a pissy 90 year old again. :p :rolling:
