They would have had my vote. Told my sister to vote for them, but I doubt she ended up voting... silly person.

 

According to Wikipedia, the Bill and Ben party got more votes than the Legalise Cannabis Party, the Family Party, and Another Party Which I Forgot The Name Of. Which is, I think, a good sign.

 

Someone (probably my father, since he doesn't speak English) had the brilliant idea of changing the language settings on Opera.
I guess it helps him, but everything feels so odd... Some things were never meant to get translated of English.

 

I can't believe it's the last year for the Air Farce. I guess most of the originals have either retired or passed on though...

 

I need a camera and a camwhoring session.

Hoping to get a camera in town over the weekend. Will pick up stuff from home on Tuesday.

Would also be good if one of the main pictures my scottish Gran has of me is of me drinking cidar at the prom Way to go, dad.

 

This week is dragging on and on and on and on and............

They say that time flies when you're having fun...so therefore, the week before a long vacation is the least fun time of all.

In other news...it's f***ing cold outside right now! It's below freezing, quite windy, and very dry. It cuts right through to the bone.

 

It is freakin' cold here too!... and I don't have a coat or jacket, just sweatshirts.

Time to rectify that.

 

Blah, I went to a place that proclaimed itself as one of the best spots for hard-to-find cigars, and they never heard the name Don Carbone. Best. Damned. Flavored. Cigars. In. The. Whole. [Censored]. World. No more Royal Blunts either, bought the remaining stock at work, and it won't get replenished. Thankfully I have Cuban Al Capone cigars at work.

Cidar is good.

I'm having a hot chocolate for breakfast... well lunch. Got to sleep at 10am and woken up at 12 by my corridormates as Alex left his sodding alarm on again. Luckily this time he left me a key to his room so I could turn it off. It doesn't appear to turn off on its own.

Having dreams about having your door kicked in then being woken up by a large bang are NOT fun btw

 

Having a bit of a warmup here in Florida, and I'm trying to resist turning the A/C back on, since it will cool down again.

ION, mom is continuing to recover nicely, and I may actually be able to have a life again in the near future. Maybe.
At least I've gotten the internet connection problems fixed. I hope it stays that way.

i hate these type of shows, most because ppl are showing of their personal and non-public sides for a bit of emotional pr0n, and 15 mins of fame, i think it is very sad

Last night was interesting. So interesting that I don't care if I ever go through that again. The electricity went out about 7 pm. About 10 pm, we noticed that there had been enough rain that the basement was starting to flood. I believe that the decision has been made to remobe the carpet in favour of a painted floor with some area rugs...

Also, my 2nd edition Thieves Handbook may not survive the events of last night. And after trying to sleep on the floor in my Computer room, I've learned that I'm not as young as I used to be...

 

I have not used my phone today... I am proud. Makes me wonder how I spent so much time before getting one

 

I'm being productive and (rather) responsible = bored to death

Summary of the day so far:

Saw a few trees which had hundreds of crows instead of leaves on them, had four hours sleep (two in bed, two in bus), and got to wear my winter jacket for the first time this year.
