So loud here in halls tonight

Had such an awful week it's not making things easier, haven't slept properly in days.

 

Oh I freaking hear ya. Between a 36-hour Iron Man, working this night (and I absolutely despise working Saturday nights), a bunch of jackasses tramping in here to investigate some kind of heating problem who think they're a bunch of comedy acts even though the [censored] know I'm F'N SLEEPING BECAUSE I WORK THIS F'N NIGHT, and worst, I have to suffer their stupid truck for hours because they gotta DIG.

Yep, gonna be a pleasent shift.

I am paying the piper for having stayed up until 4 in the morning. If I manage to make it through the day without hurting myself, I'll be impressed.
Why is it that when I get drunk off my keister, I can stay up until O Crap o'clock and be fine the next morning, but if I don't drink (like last night) I feel like I've been kicked by a team of mules.
I was back up by 8am for site breakdown.

Oh yes, and I am working until 9pm on top of it all. Ugh. I am dead on my feet right now.

 

Not sure why...but that's got a really quick fix: start drinking! Booze makes work go by much faster, and a *lot* more fun.

Since they've f***ed up our work schedule (I get off work Sat. morning at 7am, and I have to be back at work at 1am Sun. night), I've gone from a club/bar/party straight to work. It makes working with silicon wafers thinner than a credit card, more fragile than glass, and worth more than I make in a month a lot more....errrr....interesting.

I'm going to a meeting to see about starting another business. I'll be on dragons den before you know it !

 

Alcoholics go to meetings...I am *not* an alcoholic! I just see the good that booze brings to this world.

You haven't been watching the Discovery/Science channels have you? It's been a few weeks, but there was a show where the caught a few baby Giant Squid...but they all died once they were brought out of the deep sea. Who knows what kind of monsters lurk down in the deepest depths of the oceans like the Mariana Trench.

Spring break! A week of rest! w00t!

 

Woo woo! we got snow!!
Only about 4-5" but still enough to close all the schools & lots o' businesses.
We don't get a lot o' snow so we enjoy what we get as much as we can!

 

It's kinda pathetic really. After trying and failing to start my paper for about 3-4 hours, I just completed it in less than two... Ugh.

 

Why do people seem to prefer seamed stockings to non seamed? I don't see how they look better at all.

 

I don't get it, my colleagues at university told me my speech was "too proper", what? I merely use with the correct words, and I don't use anglicisms. Why should I anyway, there are French word that express the same thing as the bowered word. I don't use foreign word in English why should my French be any different? It's not from misguided nationalism or hatred toward English, only out of respect of the language. " Too proper " what do they know!
