    They're very common here. Especially after the kidnap/murder of Jamie Bulger many years ago. I wouldn't ever deliberatly put Ashley in danger of running onto a road or something but he's 2! He's very strong willed and has tried to run off before. Rather safe than sorry!

    Didn't know that. My sister-in-law mentioned it to my wife and I. I laughed at her then, thinking it wasn't even realistic. Seems she wasn't nuts. I have never seen it though. But if it keeps em safe, go for it! Though I could imagine he will resist it even more, as he starts to realize it has it's limits to his "funtime".:)

    I've only saw one leash for a little kid in my life. It was a backpack with a stuffed dog hanging off the back and the leash was around the dog's neck. It was awesome.

    Plus, I think he was talking about HIS nature - his destructive, anarchistic nature. And so when he says that it was beautiful and there is nothing like it, it was because he was probably eviscerating his co-workers and their children.
