    [​IMG] I just generally get miserable and have terrible flashbacks when drinking vodka :mommy: ended up messing myself up and needing to use bio-oil to reduce the scarring :lol:

    I have been told that "Vodka" is Polish or Russian and means "Little water". I think it is a diminutive of "Vod" (Water). You may want to check this with a Russian or Pole.

    Just goes to show, at W.C. Fields said, that you shouldn't drink water! ;)

    Incidentally, both Danes and Irish call their booze "Water of Life" (respectively Akvavit = Aqua Vitae and Uisge Beatha).

    ION, painstakingly managed to get WAP working on one of the phones I brought back from the States. Next on the list is MMS, and then comes my hardest challenge -- breaking ICCID/SIM lock combos, and finding a way to reactivate USB connectivity which was disabled in the firmware. This should be fun... NOT!

    *shrugs* Could be. The place was, after all, built from an old restaurant. Had a blast there, though. Listening to death metal loudly and most of all, all day long, and the boss just didn't gave a damn as long as the job is done, and we usually delivered in advance. I also had a brief stint as road technician, was fun, except I was sent to work in a building owned by nuns. The horrible, horrible, horrible memories of entire days without swearing. And trust me, nothing in this world is worst than a collection of sympathic old ladies who can't STFU.

    Nonsense. The computing worlds needs to be purified, one destruction at the time.

    Somehow it doesn't surprise me. :)

    Beer is called "Øl" in Danish and Norwegian and "Öl" in Swedish. So if you hear someone asking for "Ein Öl" in broken German in a tavern, it is probably not an oil millionaire who has gotten lost, but just a thirsty Scandinavian with an imperfect knowledge of German. :D

    (For the uninitiated: "Öl" is German for "Oil".)
