[IMG] I appear to be in housewife mode today. Have spent half my time in the kitchen or on the phone sorting things out. Now I'm sat on the bed waiting for Kev to come home

I can't believe how amazing some people are!

In 1982, my dad chartered concorde to come to Teesside airport (he was a travel agent). It was really risky and nearly bankrupted him and mum! However, it paid off for them. 4 years later, dad died and Concorde has held a special place in my family's heart ever since.

Anyway, last night I was messing about on the 'net when I came across a photo of the plane at Teesside in '82. I emailed the photographer, explained who I was and asked if I could buy a copy. I've just received a rely from him saying that he wouldn't sell me the picture....he's going to email me a copy for free instead.

I've sat and sobbed for the past 5 minutes! It is such a kind thing to do and I can show it to my Ashley when he's older so he can see what Ashley the First did!

I don't know what you took before going to sleep (or passing out) but that must have been some really good stuff.

The "Blades of Bonatar" reference made my day! :D

Job interviews while hungover and on two hours of sleep fall in the 'bad idea' category. Still nailing it falls in that 'worth it' category.

So, after my 360 has broken down for the THIRD time, i've given in. I'm trading in all my games and buying a PS3.

Microsoft, this is all your fault. You had a loyal customer, and you drove him away.

Double Amaretto + ginger ale = interesting, tasty yet deadly combination (you can drink it as easily as ginger ale but Amaretto is 30% alcohol...)

Having had a few of these (I stopped counting at 4) I'm still not as drunk as Sil :D

Very good night. One of the best in a while, but it ended on a slightly sad note - she's not coming back until my junior year... that is like 8 months. Le sigh.

Ugh...got off work to find the ground covered in 3" of slush, covered by 1" of snow...and not a snow plow in sight. :bad:

I really need to get snow tires...but they're $450 for 4 of them +mounting fees.

If everything goes according to plan I'll have my SSD at the end of the week ... but then, considering how things went so far ... :nolike:

    ---------- Added 11 hours, 48 minutes and 47 seconds later... ----------

And it appears that my back pain is eventually gone after two weeks.

What is the most efficient amount of caffeine consumption? Or rather, what is the best caffeine consumed to work done ratio?

Three mugs a day, adequately strong, one at 6am, the next at 9am, the last one at 6pm. A lot of water in between. If that doesn't suffice, you lack sleep :p

... speaking of which ... six to eight hours are adequate.

On a quest to find the perfect heap of sandwich combinations! :tobattle:
Because there is no way in the Nine Hells that there is just one of them out there. :)

As for RL - I'm hoping for a motivation boost from reading books in a locked room. It happens sometimes. :p

Know what's amazing about the PS3?

Unlike my old console, it actually works.

You'll probably hate the controllers. PS3 controllers are really bad in comparison to Xbox ones; they always feel far too small and fiddly for my hands.
