Japan has over 125 million people. "Running out" seems unlikely. :p

Splunge, How many of them are schoolgirls? And doesn't it take the blood of at least 25 million people to make a proper movie?

May I suggest red and yellow ajuma's? :)

Habaneros perhaps? Not as hot, but they seem orange (mixed yellow and red :D )

Never really thought of that. Different countries have different peppers. I should go on a world tour.

Civilization has again infiltrated Goeree Overflakkee. An Oriental toko has opened up shop in town. Mystical spices can now be bought in large quantities for reasonable prices.

Will the Triades and Yakuza follow?

I swear my neighbor's been playing Michael Jackson's beat it loudly outside his backyard on loop for the last thirty minutes. Look, it's a good song and all, but at some point it gets insanely irritating. If he keeps it up I'm gonna have homicidal rage every time I hear Michael Jackson. I'm guessing the "he had it coming" defense isn't gonna help much if I'd get tried by my peers.

Yes your honor, but he played it really loud for a really long time ! I just blacked out It's not my fault, I swear ! Also no, I don't know how the bloody knife ended up in my breadbox and no, I don't know how those bodies got decapitated either. The killer must've been really angry at me for some reason. Maybe jealousy of my awesome foreign beer bottle collection* ?

*Which I totally have ... somewhere deep, deep in the garage. I even got that weird Belgian beer bottle, y'know the pink one with the huge elephant on it ?

Edit: I checked it out, turned out it was a delirium beer, a blue bottle with a pink elephant, still though, I was pretty close. See I did not made that up.

Ha! Welcome to my world , Flix! My neighbours play loud music regularly. Real loud. And often the same song. I heard Wankelmut's "One day" 7 to 15 a day, 2 months long. I had illusions that killing my neighbours would be a form of self-defence. Now, their weapon of choice is some Hit List CD of which they only play Blurred Lines and some other song that's supposed to be (or "have been", already) a hit. Aside from the stuff the boy of the two is producing. He's a hiphop artist, you know. And I don't mind hiphop every now and then (esp the Old Skool), but this is a very lame "13-in-a-dozen" kind of ... music?
What they do to you is far worse, I now realize. They're turning a good song into an annoyance.

 Haven't been on "vlak-over-kee" that often, but a toko would stand out, I suppose. At least you can cook "Hollinaams" now. My preferred kind of cooky time: A mix of Surinaams (Surinam) and Hollands (Dutch).

    Now don't pretend you're no Yakuza member, m'kay? :p

Btw: Flix, are those special X-mas beers made by Delirium Tremens?

So, someone with a thick Indian accent just called me from the "Windows Center" in the "United Kingdom" to inform me that there was a virus on my computer, and that he could help me.

I shall spare you the details about what I said to him, or my general opinion of these scammers, as both would violate the BoM language rules. ;)

What - Microsoft is Skynet now? Oh wait, yes they already are. ;)

What's that? And I take it the kid purchased My First Virtual Studio by Fisher Price for $39.99? When does his debut album drop for the public? :p

Allow me to interpret for my somewhat linguistically impaired compatriot.

He is inferring that the music is rather generic. A dime-a-dozen would be more appropriate.

I believe he's referring to the fact that he hasn't had a spanking like that very often.

    :D That's nicely put.

Yup, that was intentional (hence the quotation marks) Dunglish by me. I thought the expression would be quite clear, though, but I seem to be mistaken. Sorry for that.

Gaear, I wouldn't be surprised if he used Fisher Price. Or FastTracker if he has an old PC. Maybe he raped his bank account and bought Fruity Loops.

Edit: I could state his performer name here or a link to his music, but I'm quite sure he googles himself and will end up here. I don't want that. :D

Yup, hard to find, but worth it. Come to think of it, I've seen less and less Delirium beers. What happened ?

It is quite comprehensible to a Dane. We also use the idiom "13 to a dozen".

And we also use the term "Danglish" for "Danish English". :D

And you Danish peops value freedom of press, have good infrastructure for bicycles, have a flat country (our country is flatter except for that one stupid hill we call a mountain, right?), share a fondness for licorice/salmiak and irony/sarcasm.

No wonder you score so high in the Top # Happiest Countries. I could totally live there! :D

    Edit:
In stead, you're happily plastering walls? :D

I've done plastering, hung drywall, electrical work, changed faucets, reemed pipes, repaired woodwork, repaired shingles ... can't think of much around the house I haven't done. But staining a fence and painting the outside of the house in the summer really sucks.

Mrs Bruno is off on business so I'm drinking whiskey and scotch (she hates the stuff...).

The repairman for the loo came by. One little plastic knob is broken off, preventing me from flushing in the conventional way.

He sets a new record of 34 seconds. The part needs ordering.

That is why I always plan these jobs on regular days off. Taking a day off for this would be a waste.

T2, is it hot there atm? I hate it when the paint dries too quickly, but rain isn't great either...

Yesterday, I removed the plaster on a wall of my friend's home, using the claw of a hammer. It was frenzy fun. Couldn't see $h!7. Couldn't breath. (Those cheap respirators mist up my dust glasses and my regular glasses) But it was fun and I did not realize I was bleeding until I was in the shower.

If Scotch is whisky, then what is whiskey? Nonetheless: Enjoy! I love a good Islay.

Whiskey is something of which Scotch is a subset, as whiskey not distilled in Scotland is not really Scotch.
