I was having a rather dull day but I was just given a free pair of tickets to tonights hockey game.

 

I was alone in #sorcerers again for a long time until Sorvo came in the last few minutes.

I wonder how much coffee I'll need this morning to survive penal and constitutional law classes from 8.00 to 11.30 am. Especially after holidays when I didn't really get up before well after noon

And I have just read some 80 pages of parliamentary elections law. Suuuucks! Perhaps I'll remember it still when I run myself, so maybe it won't go to waste.

After a lot of problems with mIRC, and the need to talk to someone about something, Rotku finally decided to download ICQ, which he has been meaning to do for a long time. So that's one thing I can tick off a things-to-do list.

 

@ Reepnorp - Yes it was the Leafs-Predators game that I saw.

That was probably strangest hockey game I have ever seen. The highlight of the first period was a devestating bodycheck thrown by one of the Leafs against his own teammate.

The second featured the Leafs' captain breaking his stick on a shot and then proceeding to hurl the broken shaft of the stick over the top of the 20 meter or so tall protective netting. The stick landed about 35 rows up into the stands.

On top of this the referees were calling absurd penalties against both teams. 13 powerplays in one game including a 5 on 3 where the second penalty was an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called against the assistant captain for arguing the original penalty call - unreal.

 

Urgh, online games suck in tremendous ways, or maybe they don't, but they sure as hell don't make you actually want to do anything useful.

 

JSBB, you are much luckier than me. Last time I was at a game, they blew a 2-0 lead in the third period for a 3-2 loss! And even worse, I found out yesterday I have a hernia!

 

It was too hot today. Me and my siblings all went down to the mall to see a movie simply because it was air conditioned. It was that bad.

Anyway, time to do stuff, and stuff.

 

WhooHoo! My home province is in the comics! His last snow sculpture is in the shape of Manitoba. (snow-manitoba - get it?)

The news of Falstaff deserting the Most Ancient and Noble Order of Old Bachelors has made me ponder the most irrelevant in the scale of eternity question of what I would want from a lady in case I were to get married. After a period of deliberation, I reached the revolunationary conclusion that time will show and that no matter what I think now, it will change over time, so why think about it now?

However, for the time being, it shows that coffee addiction is a must. A strong head, alcohol-wise, is a practical necessity. I bet some CON>=16 would generally be required to survive a week of my very healthy lifestyle After all, I'm one big bastard and the last person I would have any mercy on. Which goes without saying, some good logical grounding must be there, for the sake of my migraine. After all, she has to understand what I'm speaking to her, isn't she? And it would be nice if she were able to provide some competent resistance in disputes.

If we're already at communication, error-free correspondence has been proven to be able to win my heart single-handedly. Per analogiam, this extends to include a general healthy sense of propriety. Even propriety in impropriety. And impropriety in propriety. If you know what I mean. Sure you do. A contrario, improper impropriety just doesn't go, but that's not any surprise, I believe.

It's 8pm and I'm already nearly falling asleep. *sighs* Why are holidays so tiring?!

 

Since you have the opportunity of sleeping on the weekend and then make a habit of it?...
