[IMG] Er... did anyone get that?

I don't like foreign languages - they always make me feel stupid - I'll never actually *leave* Britain anyway.

In german I know the worlds most important question (As Frau Starosta told us)

Was hast du in deiner federtasche?

Well, I absolutly hate it when people speak strangely - though of course, I do and it probably annoys loads more but I can't help it :(

Ok, I know what a biro is (ballpoint pen), I know the difference between chips (french fries) and crisps (potato chips), I've mastered flat (apartment) and could pass myself off as a Brit in a poor country where they've never heard of them (I'll just drive on the "wrong" side of the road).

    But what is:
    a Pram?
    Bidet?
    Budgie?

A pram - erm, four wheels, baby lies in it.

I hope you know what trousers are

I know how to say the most important thing you could ever need to know in German:

    "Ich bin ein gelee krapfen"

    Mmmmm... doughnuts....

    Pram-Pramulator, I think-a baby carriage/stroller.
Bidet-You don't want to know. Okay, when you use the restroom, instead of wiping, you can use a bidet, which squirts water on your unmentionables.
A Budgie is like a parakeet. It may be an actual parakeet, but I'm inclined to think that it's merely in the same family.
There's also the loo or the WC (water closet) which are both a term for bathroom.
