Monday again. It only seems a few days ago that it was Monday last time.

 

...that's only because you're always drunk (or so it seems). So we never really know what you're like when you're sober.

 

I think you may have to define the word sober to some of our dipsomaniacs.

 

By this time tomorrow, I'll have cast my vote in the federal election.

Canada really needs a minority government right now.

@Splunge: I could continue that forever, but there was no point. It turned into mindless chopping. If the other side kept all to the same standards of debate as you, I wouldn't have left.

 

I appreciate the compliment, chev. I realised awhile back that nothing constructive comes out of making personal attacks in the Alley. And especially after Laches left, and explained his reasons for doing so, I’ve tried to stick to the issues and stay away from making it personal (and hopefully succeeded for the most part). Plus it just makes your opposition look that much worse if they decide to do some mud-slinging and you don't reciprocate.

I may be a smart-ass, but I’m a respectful smart-ass.

 

Erm... the Pina Colada song was done by Rupert Holmes, not Buffett.

 

So Canada now has a Liberal minority government and it looks like the Liberals will be looking to the NDP for support.

And yes, I did vote.
