I couldn't connect again this morning but can now. Damn annoying.

 

SleepleSS: you must indeed be sleepless...

 

I feel a little bit a peace today. The creature called stress that has been gnawing at my toes for the last few months has been kicked away temporarily. I finally filled out some papers with some numbers on them. The papers weren't all that difficult to fill out, I just tend to avoid filling forms. I think it may be some kind of phobia. All I have to do is get another signature on them and I WILL go mail them today. No more avoidance syndrome for me. That is until the next time.

 

Just over one hour until my 2 weeks vacation starts. (Well, except that I have to come in on Saturday for a couple of hours.)

Of course, that means no SP after tomorrow (which is bad or good, depending on whether it's from my perspective or everyone else's )

 

@Volsung Yea Most of the night I am and when I sleep the dreams come and make me tyred.

I had a reception today I had a few beers so maybe I will sleep well tonight

@Fearus:

Doesn't matter if she lied to you or someone else. At least so long as we aren't playing the who's-to-blame-more game. She has lied to one very close friend, she can lie to another. I honestly doubt she said that in order not to make him suffer. I guess it was an easy cheap solution. It's not like I'm throwing rocks and playing judge, but you should really think twice about starting a relationship with her. It's not true that once lied always a liar and circumstances are crucial, but you still should think and think hard. For your own good. You'll do what you want, anyway. But it's less painful to learn from someone else's mistakes than your own.

The issues she has come down to self esteem and identification, I guess. Yeah, circumstances do matter, but circumstances don't make everything. I suggest caution.

However, the best advice I can give you is to go live your life and stop listening to my rambling You're young and you need to get through it. Your later life will be better thanks to this.

 

I really should learn that no matter how late I stay up, I'm not able to sleep in past 9:30 or 10 in the morning.

It's really starting to get to me.

 

...And no matter how little sleep I get; I can stay awake forever as long as I'm with her.

Saw her tonight...she talked to the other guy yesterday, and started the healing process there; they'll stay close friends (hopefully), but she doesn't want to be anything more with him. With *me* on the other hand...

We're more than "just friends". That much is clear to everyone (especially her)...but she isn't sure if she really wants us to go out (yet?). So I told her she could take as long as she wants to make up her mind; and I'll be there for her regardless of what she decides.

I'm smiling again, for the first time in almost 3 days...

I just hope there aren't any more turnarounds!

But unless/until there *is* a turnaround; I'm gonna be happy (knowing that she wants to be with me...and that we can be together almost anytime )

@chev - I still don't know what you're talking about when you say she lied (to me or him...or whatever). Sure, she led each of us on a little, but she knew and seriously regretted that; and she's done all she can to rectify that unfortunate occurrence. But that's not the same as lying...she never overtly said/did anything that I can interpret as a lie.
Of all the women I know (and considering that almost all of my friends, and *all* of my closest friends, are women, I know quite a few) she's very possibly the most honest. Her honesty could almost match mine; and that's yet another reason I feel this way about her...
Self-esteem issues? Possibly...she *is* a little insecure, mostly with her physical appearance and such. But she told me tonight that whatever insecurities she might have disappear completely when she's with me. I make her happy with who she is (or something to that effect...so she says...).

 

Well - my money supplies are greatly depleted. On the other hand, I now have Deus Ex, new earphones, Mona Lisa Overdrive, Oceanborn, and went to see Shrek 2

 

I must go to work We had a little party at work yesterday wondering if there are people with hangovers .

The problem with having a song stuck in your head is that usually is is just one line that goes over and over and really wreaks the whole song for you.
