I had to wear glasses at school. You'll get used to it eventually.

I've been wearing glasses or contact lenses for 30+ years. It's not a big deal, but it does take some time to adjust.

I wear contacts now, I prefer them far more than glasses.

I've had contacts for half a year now and I must say that I, too, prefer them over glasses.

I too wear contacts. Glasses when I am not doing anything, but contacts when I go out and such.

Just gotta show off my baby blues.

@ JSBB - given the situation, it's definitely time to do your resume, before you find yourself in a position where you have to do it. ;)

I've worn glasses since I was around 9 or 10. I tried contacts in my early twenties, but I couldn't wear them for a full work day; it got to be a pain in the butt changing to glasses at around 4:00, so I just stopped wearing the contacts, and went back to glasses.

JSBB - why don't you get off your butt and go and look for some NEW clients (if your old ones are dying)? Go rustle up some new business!

Ho-hum, guess I'm not important enough to have my birthday noted.

Well, it was noted by one person. You. And that's more than some people can say, so you should be thankful for that.

Well, you might be important enough if it was your birthday. *checks profile* Hey! Happy birthday! :D

    No, but they're pretty thick.

I wish it were that easy. Most people who start a business will just go to the acountant that a relative or acquaintance uses. That pretty well means that family members/friends of existing clients are a small firm's source of new clients. I could run around town to every social event that I could think of but the odds of attracting any significant business would be negligible.

For once I'm not tired when I go to school! Amazing!

Side note: I still hate Mondays. And Tuesdays. And Wednesdays. And Thursdays. And most of Fridays.

Go and do something after school like sports or pool or anything so it is like you have something to look forward to in the day then the day doesn't seem so bad. It worked for me when I went to school.

May I explain to all of that every little babble you spit out of your little bone-box just simply increases the number of posts on this topic?

But that's the most extraordanary thing that can happen! Cheers for the growing number of posts!

Maybe it's been posted before, maybe it hasn't. I know not. But this one is good.
