I hate the cost of textbooks. I just paid $140 CDN for 3 books, and I still have more to buy. The ones I still need are probably more expensive, but I don't know, as the bookstore doesn't have them in right now.

 

Yeah, I also end up paying lots for books that totally don't deserve it. They are printed on little better than recycled paper, paper-back and with no colour print or diagrams or anything inside, just text, but still cost like $/e 10-12 per one, or more if thicker.

 

That's what libraries are there for! I just borrow whatever textbooks I need a week before the exams and I'm set!

 

My wife was able to get one of her required textbooks through Amazon.com. It cost about 30% less than buying it through the bookstore at school, which didn't have any in stock, and she's sharing it with a friend.

 

Hmm... I got hit by a bolt of random happiness today, scary stuff.
Even school was great at the time... I'm either going mad, or falling in love... is there even a difference? is it too late? Questions, questions, answer will become clear in time.
Today is a pretty cool day... although I'd really be much nicer if it wasn't storming, as I have papers to round.
Oh ell, enough RB'ing... things to do, people to annoy


EDIT: I read (red? readed?) up a bit... Dragonfly, although I believe love is real, I think the odds for the love as Chev mentioned is very small (although, through it's nature, always worth pursueing) given human nature (as I understand it). And whatever it is, it turns out to not be said love, *that* will hit like a brick. I think that's what I meant.

 

For some reason, when I saw 8 hours, I immediately thought of sleep.

Wait, now I know why. Because resting in IE games takes 8 hours...

[sigh] I need a real life...

 

Damn, just had my basementroom robbed. The bloody idiots only took my bags with millitary equipment though. Don't know if they actually thougt they would contain guns or such...

Still pretty annoying though. The took of with my webbing, gas mask, entrenching tool and combat knife, all of which has some sentimental value, since they have been with me for the last three years, two missions included...

Ever have one of those days that starts out so well, then just goes downhill?

Class this morning was fine, but then went to get textbooks, and only managed to get three of the books I needed.

While there, I ran into a guy with whom I had some fun over the summer, then found out that he was getting back together with his ex-girlfriend.

After that, I came home and tried to get some more sleep before my evening class. Sleep didn't come to me at all. Went to class, which went well, but then ran into some people that I didn't want to talk to.

Got home and changed my status on MSN, basically complaining about why the universe seems to love messing me up, only to have my ex send me a message.

My allergies are kicking in, and depression plus other problems specific to women are a very unpleasant combination.

Maybe I should just go to bed so this day can end.

Well, that headache didn't go away, and turned out to be a full blown migraine. So, anti migraine, anti nausea medication and 24 hours later, I think I've got it licked.

Also, the remnants of Hurricane Ivan are coming back through Florida. That's so not fair... :lol

I'm cold I'm depresed I'm stuck in loats of schoolwork... But to night I spent whith friends! I must teach a very nice female friend of mine how to play Magic The Gathering, this must be cool! To bad I have "Competition" Or how do you call it if someone tries to reach the same goal?

Anyway of to school I go now!

I don't really feel like listening to the music today, but thanks It's a difficult day for me, waiting for someone to talk to me, but I have faith that it will work out. Perhaps I'll listen to some music tomorrow or in a couple of days.

Nah, I never give up on people I genuinely care for. This girl is very special to me.

And I couldn't really keep that page under construction for too long

 

Well, if she means that much to you, I'm sure she won't let you down. Would be silly to pass by such a fine specimen of the male race.

 

Y'know, yesterday was bad, today was worse, but tomorrow it is going to be all fine, because tomorrow is the beginning of the rest of your life.

Sometimes I scare myself...
