@Laiwethel - I'm not sure what shows he did because unfortunately I was never able to see any of them. The next time I email him I'll ask him. How many years ago did you see the show? He was there about 13 or 14 years ago because I think they had there first daughter as they were finishing off there.

Did anyone ever see a kids fantasy movie call the Voyage of the Unicorn? He played the character Malachi who was the dwarf captain of the ship that the main characters stayed on throughout the movie.

 

Never heard of that movie, but it sounds interesting. I'll have to see if I can find it.

My washing machine died today. That makes a dead washing machine, a dead dishwasher, a dying refrigerator, and a dryer that probably only has a yea on it before little things start to go wrong.

So, $3100 later, I now have all new ones. I also have a much smaller bank balance. *Sigh/

 

You should have just said that your old appliances were eaten by a hurricane. Can you say insurance fraud?

 

I have my mom visiting -aka nagging - for the next two days... it's horrible.

On th eother hand, I watched a movie I hadn't seen in years, and was positively surprised how it didn't turn out to be utter crap even if I'd feared it would.

But I refuse to admit that the sequels exist.

13 or 14 years ago sounds about right for my first introduction to the Cirque, but unfortunately I don't remember which show it was that I first saw. I know I've seen Alegria and Quidam, but I don't remember exactly when it was.

Random babble - Even with seven hours of sleep, I'm still feeling exhausted. I hate 9 a.m. classes.

 

@ Faraaz: My dad used to work for Qantas (a australian airline) and did longhaul flights (for us australians, thats 24 hours). He says that you should sleep when you are tired, dont try to force the body clock.

I did always wonder about that one, The first time I saw a Pyramid with an eye it was a reference to Lucifer. The second time it was on the dollar bill and the thirth time it was the sighn of some secret world wide organisation...

Can some one explain to me what the eye in a pyramid really means, and where those other stories come from?
