    still waiting for my mother board...been three weeks now...three weeks and no Broad Band, no games, no MP3's, no porn, no random spamming on SP!! oh well...at least I can still jump on here to regain my sanity for the five minutes while my boss goes to a meeting...how lame was the election...gonna be 21 next week!!!     I'm sitting here, looking at Omege, my new room spider.

    Previously, I've shared my room with various transient eight-legged visitors: Goliath (who was *massive*, at least by English arachnid standards), Golgotha (a small, philosophical spider), Mortis (who is actually dead - he passed away in the corner of my windowsill, and there his skeleton lies), Brian (new one, small, spindly, none-too-bright, still here).

    Omega, however, makes Goliath look like a flea. I'm genuinely scared of him. If I didn't know better, I'd swear he's contemplating having me with a nice chianti *spider hiss imitation*.

    Doubt: If I order a computer from Dell,and they promise to deliver it within 10 working days, and they do not deliver it for upto 2 months, can I do something about it?

    Take them to court, or make them give me the thing for free or something?

    Take them to court, bitch as much you can about how evil they are. Not like I condone lying, just show his honour how much the evil defendant has hurt you, then you know... you do need some hefty sum to wipe your tears off, don't you? Here you wouldn't make them give the thing to you for free, but the Indian private law is based on Anglo-Saxon law, so basically everything is possible. :p :lol:

    Saw this in the news. The jury gave them nine years for spamming.

    LEESBURG, Va. - A brother and sister who sent junk e-mail to millions of America Online customers were convicted Wednesday in the nation’s first felony prosecution of Internet spam distributors.

    Guess they will be eating plenty of spam in the prison cafeteria... :lol:

    I haven't seen Stargate the movie in such a long time. I wonder if it will be like watching M*A*S*H* the movie for the first time after watching almost every episode of the series. :rolling:

    Daylight Savings started last weekend, now it gets dark later! (duh)

    I'm so glad to be back home in Mid-World with the Gunslingers.
