Well, even though I'm a bit late, congrats to both JSBB on his new job (even though it was pretty much a forgone conclusion), and Laiwethel on getting the role (even if it wasn't the one you were trying out for).

 

Thanks Splunge. It seems kind of strange actually how after going through all of the education and training to become a public accountant, most of us just bugger off into industry after a few years. Oh well, a more challenging job, better pay, a company pension plan, numerous benefits, and travel await me.

 

Got kitty harenesses today... can't wait to take the little onnes out tomorrow

 

Thanks, Splunge. I will say that I'm actually really looking forward to playing Athena.

Now if only the Avast tech support people would get back to me about my antivirus software, and if only this essay would write itself.

Cats look stupid if you try to take them for a walk. Trust me, I know.

My leg is killing me...I hope it's not growing pains again! I'm already 6'3", I don't need to get any taller!

 

Hehe, I take mine for walks in the warmer half of the year. He loves that. In fact, he will keep bitching from early morning till late evening if you don't take him for a walk.

 

Mine wouldn't tolerate that. He'd plan my slow, agonising psychological destruction. Until he wanted his dinner.

 

I think I taught my cat that going outside means something bad is going to happen...In the winter, I'll toss her in to a snowbank and watch her dissapear in to the snow, only to see her a few seconds later, struggling her way out of it. Once out, I'll toss her in to a nice warm bath...which she hates even more than snow.
In the summer, I've been known to toss her in my dad's pond, just to prove that cats are better swimmers than dogs...my cat however is so fat, that she just floats and moves after the fish...once she gives up trying to get the fish, I give her a nice warm bath...

I actually think it's a good thing that my cat hates the outdoors. She's been de-clawed, so she'd loose any fights she would probably start...and my parents live next to a bussy street...the last thing I want to see is my cat getting hit by a car.

 

I wish my cat would do something. Anything is preferable to it just laying there smelling funny.

My cat spends a lot of time laying around but I think that's cause she's old and its winter. On the up side she was great company when I had to spend a lot of time in bed.

 

My cat often looks like completely gone when he's resting on the carpet. Sometimes he lies on his back and stretches all paws out, like a dead fly.

 

My little brother is chasing 2 of our 3 cats arounnd the house with a remote - controlled car. 2 out of 3 cause MY cat would bite his face ooff. I once bought a leash for a cat, put it on Kalil, next thing.. "Here's a deal Kalil. I take that off you and YOU take your claws out of ME."

 

I am a person. A real one too. Yessiree...

Wow...today at work a very beautiful young lady (between 16-18 years old) came in to my store with what looked like her family...they weren't! She was a foreign exchange student from France of all places! She must have been trying the American way, because she was genuinely NICE and POLITE! I was shocked...after I made their order, I couldn't resist, and I went out in to the dinning room and chatted with her for a good 10 minutes. I had to run back up front because I had a bunch of customers come in...but before she left, she came up to the front counter and gave me her email address, and the phone number of the people that she is living with!

So once I got home, I emailed her...partially because I wanted to see if it was a valid email address, and also because I wanted to chat, and I can't seem to be able to get in to #sorcerers. Anyway, I told her that I lived with my g/f in an apartment, and how my family used to be "host" families of Japanese foreign exchange students...ect. She must have been online, because she emailed me back within 5 minutes. She wants to know more about me and my g/f. So I sent her a picture of me and g/f together, and gave her a short bio of both of us. She emailed back soon after. She wants to come over to our apartment...her exact words were: "I want to come see your apartment and hang out with you and your lover."

Now that was all she put in her last email, and I am wondering...should I let a very beautiful foreign girl come over to my apartment to "hang out"?

I'm to good a person, yes I am. But at least helping others makes me feel better about myself and so I'm helping me. I'm even smiling right now!

Although when I look at the nasty weather outside and realise I must travel through it.. that's not an happy thought!

Al least there is always a to sheer me up and otherwise there is tonight. And tomorrow I gonna hang out with a couple of friends!
