    Ahh, but when one can actually sing, it's even better :p

    In other news, I now have a place to live for next year! It's a decent size, for a decent rent, with laundry facilities, and access to a swimming pool and tennis courts.

    Not bad for student housing :D

    Another day to spent on school and work and beer or wine depending on my mood tonight...

    Didn't sleep that good tonight but at least I wrote the missing part for my poem. although I'm not sure about the purple foam, since foam isn't the right word...

    I had a stupid professional development course all day yesterday at work. We learned next to nothing and were given a series of exercises to work on but never enough time to do them. Then they had the nerve to criticize our work as if we had the time to do a complete job in an attempt to justify the fact that we needed the course.

    When they got to the point of criticizing us for having a lack of polish after we had to read ten pages of completely different problems a business was having, categorize the problems and create a presentation with visual aids - all in 20 minutes - I was just about ready walk out on them. :nolike:

    I am taking today off - I had to use my vacation day that I carried forward from last year before the end of March. On Sunday I am off on a business trip to Chicago for a week - I probably will not have the time to do anything touristy but I have never been there beore so it should be interesting.

    Congrats Laiwethel, sounds like a really nice find! I imagine you will be most happy about the prospect of not having to put up with having ongoing construction work done while you try to study.
