    I'm leaving for Chicago tonight! I'm so hyper right now I just might eat my pillow. My friend is bringing his $1500 guitar to Chicago, so if he gets stopped at the border he might be kinda screwed. But enough of that, this trips going to be one of those memories you have forever, the Senior school trip! See you all on Monday!

    That nice then: comparing non-union workers to union workers. Obviously the union has done good work and thus the employees can work in good conditions. :)

    I'm saying this because it is a bit of an opposite here and it's especially difficult for a student like me. 9% unemployment, majority of my generation having at least master's papers, old farts being preferred solely because of their experience... Needless to say, the employers are being pampered and thus they do not really need to give a jack of one worker (-poor hours, poor pay, no benefits, etc-).

    Wish we had as strong unions like you have, even though our 'paperworkers union' has shown some backbone recently.

    JJSB make sure you visit St Michans Crypt near Jamison distillary in the 'old part' of Dublin, you won't be sorry! Its much more impressive than Christ Churches.
