    @Ofelix: For the use of all nations, from the cathedral (see) of the city (i.e. Rome) and the world.

    "Urbs" means "city" but is mostly used with reference to Rome. The Romans just called it "the city".

    I heard the most amazing thing on the radio this morning...

    Apparently two Star Wars fans decided that they wanted to make their own lightsabres to reinact parts of RotS. So instead of using broomsticks as one naturally would they got fluorescent light-tube things and filled them with petrol...

    ... Needless to say they are now both in a critical condition because their 'lightsabres' blew up :grin:

    Hmm, we are having a going away party for one of the guys in my department and the girl who normally bakes cookies for such events couldn't do so. Naturally, I got stuck with the job, only instead of cookies I appear to have produced some sort of cookie shaped throwing weapons. Either that or I have invented a new formula for chocolate chip bricks.

    Normally my cookies are pretty good but given that I had no advance warning whatsoever I had to make several modifications to my usual recipe to compensate for not having enough, and in one case having none, of the ingredients.

    Oh well, at least this should guarantee that it is last time that they will ask me to bake something. :lol:
