    They are not burnt CD's it just has a warning "This CD must not be sold outside Russia, Cis and Baltic States" which makes it sound like an original copy to me, but I may be wrong.

    I would happily buy them here, if they were not twice the price of US CD's.

    :rolleyes: When it comes to CDs and DVDs, if it is Russian you can bet it is an illegal copy. They are very good at it though so at least you can be reasonably sure that you will get a working disk with practically real looking labels/boxes etc.

    I am sure that there must be some non-pirated CDs and DVDs in Russia but I sure didn't see any when I was there. Everytime you turn around some Maffia dude is trying to sell you dirt cheap pirated CDs and DVDs - along with cheap Vodka, cheap souvenirs, and the services of cheap Russian prostitutes. :shake:
