    George R.R. Martin was GREAT!!!!! :D Got to talk to him a good bit -- and some of his comments in the different sessions were absolutely hysterical!! He's got a wonderfully warped sense of humor that he's not afraid to share -- he had the whole place in stitches. There were times I was laughing so hard, only squeaks were coming out. The dinner was wonderful, but in many ways today was better -- more 1 on 1 time with him.... Absolutely incredible guy! :thumb:

    Kinda having a lazy day, a friend is picking me up in about three hours to treat me to an early birthday dinner (my birthday is tomorrow)

    Can't get too wild for my actual birthday, since my mother is having cataract surgery the day after, so I have to be the driver.

    Well, I just managed to spoil myself for Harry Potter. I think it's made me strangely more interested in the book now though - not that I have any immediate plans of rushing out and grabbing it :)

    Wow, I have nice friends. The restaurant was quite upscale, and the food was amazing!
    I also wore high heels and makeup for the first time in well over two years...
