I'm visiting my moms house in the bush for a few days. It is so amazing how beautiful it is up here and how quiet. We were down by one of her gardens around dusk and I found several tiny toads hopping around. When it got dark we sat around a fire outside and ate smoors and drank a little ale and watched the northern lights for a while. If I didn't have to go back to the city I would never want to leave.

 

I've just had my breakfast at 2:30 pm and now is the time for some wine.

 

I am SO proud of my little Carolina, she is SUCH a mighty fearless huintress... she brought home a very dead shrew last night

 

What a party what a party! 'tis was some fun... Now where did I put that scroll of dispel hangover? Ahhh...

Pfeh. Dogs are nothing. A little hiss 'n' scratch and they run off with their tails between their legs. One of my pets is an expert dog-smacker. He's declawed in front (we found him that way ) and all he has to do to send a dog four times bigger than him scampering is give him a smack across the snout.

 

Guess what my brother did when I lent him my Arcanum. He made an ogre who had max STR, max DEX and was a master of bartering and persuasion. Did I mention 8 CON and max willpower? All that with 4 INT, later raised to 5.

Ugh. Horrendous comic. You have one sick sense of humor.

 

We always take in stray cats. No vet, no collar, no special food and no declawing (That really just doesn't happen over here). They live in the ramshackle sheds we have (I think they're over 100 years old. The sheds, not the cats, obviously). They have a wild streak that doesn't ever disappear, but if you take your time to get to know them,they're really affectionate. The one we "have" now will sit in my lap a bit when she wants, but she won't be picked up. I kinda like that independent thing. Strays means an overload of dead rodents, but on the plus side we've found they stay alive a lot longer than their domesticated friends.

In other news, I've found a Karate Boo . One of those karate-weapon-swinging hamsters. On batteries mind you. But I can't seem to make him to his little trick. I need someone technical to patch him up.

kuemper -- I agree with Felinoid -- that's pretty damn sick. It's bad enough that it's disgusting in and of itself, but you encourage cat lovers to look at it.
