    Because no one bothers to actually finish it? To err is human; to forgive is divine. Much like the second amendment in the U.S. constitution. :p

    Rugby vs. American football - you don't hear about footballers getting thumbs shoved up their butts.

    @chev - yeah, I get that, too.

    Feeling tired and yet I have to drag myself to work tomorrow. Well atleast the money keeps on coming which is allways good. On the negative side, sundays tend to be the absolutely worst working days. Feeling incredibly stressed at the moment on both emotional and physical level, which is bad.

    @Chev - I hope this suspicion/premonition or whatever resolves itself quickly (in your place I'd hate waiting, champing at the bit for 'the other shoe to drop')

    @Jaguar - HA; this from a fellow Cannuck where we wear the pads during football to keep warm ;)

    @Fel - you've never played rugby: plenty of hard hits...and the players wear headbands/tape to keep their EARS GETTING RIPPED OFF in the chaos of a scrum.
    Heck, rugby's famous for only having two rules:
    I) do not make a forward pass,
    II) do not bring anything onto the pitch except your uniform and the ball (the 'no outside weapons' rule - though those cleats can really mess up your shins :evil: )

    Oh, and rugby doesn't stop every 15 seconds.

    @ (the whole 'To err is human...' thing) - I agree the term is used too much as an excuse, rather than a conjuction from the event of error to the event of recovery/learning from same. And Kuemper's got a point; everyone misquotes it, changing the connotation completely.

    I like to think of the full expression meaning this:

    'You have caused me harm, ill or inconvenience, but as no malice was intended by it, I do not hold ill-will against you.'

    Anyway, I think that's all the current thoughts going through this thread right now(?) :heh:

    In closing, I'd like to say *SNUGGLEBUNNIES!* :D

    @apathetic empath:
    That's actually my point. You can play with wild abandon without worrying about hurting someone. I could never play rugby because I'd be too worried that I would, as you put it, RIP THEIR EARS OFF. And that is a fate I reserve solely for my enemies. :evil:

    /me still bouncing off the walls following the caffiene avalanche that hit RBP.

    @Chev: Keep your head up and cover your @$$ and your nads. Usually those feelings come for a reason.

    @Ara: Call me a suicidal nut, but I'd take my chances with you as opposed to a roomful of bored Kender. Mind you you might find me even more boring, thus making you more of a danger to the rest of the world...

    @ Fellinoid: I thought the line was "To Err is Human, to forgive is not our policy"

    Otherwise, I'm pretty much bored myself. I did get my new Videocard installed, and a butt load of oldschool arcade games on my computer, but nothing special...

    @Gnarfflinger:
    Um, I think it was kuemper who finished the quote, but just to clear things up:

    I have no beef with you whatsoever. I rather enjoy our 'heated' discussions, and I thought you did too.

    @Ofelix:
    1. Ask her what your name is. (It may seem hokey, but it works! :lol: )
    2. Ask her where she thinks she knows you from.
    3. Ask her what HER name is. (You may actually know her!)
    ...
    50. Tell her you need to check in with the office and beg off. (Usually only works on weekdays.)
    ...
    147. Tell her your wife is waiting for you.
    ...
    578. Tell her you're gay. :hahaerr:

    For some reason, one of my friends has started using "crack-bunny" (presumably based off of crack-baby) as a swear word. :rolleyes: :shake: Sure it's moderately funny (in an absurd sort of way), but where the hell does he come up with this stuff?!?

    You guys are weird. I mean really weird. There are levels of weirdness that I didn't know existed, and you are surpassing them.
