Man I'm annoyed right now. Hurt my neck this morning, now it hurts like hell. I can't move it, I have to look to the left, and it hurts when I twist my head. It also hurts when I walk.

    Grrr.

For those people who can turn their neck freely, you should be damned happy.

*blinks* So I vanish for 5 or 6 days and RB goes insane!

    Oh well.

Now for the pain of buying my school textbooks. This is going to hurt the bank account.

Argh. Kelvon's caffeine avalanche NOT good--still annoyed over Packers getting their collective heads handed to them (27-7). :(

Plus I have to work on a Sunday. :( :(

Really makes me want to break stuff.

@Ofelix: The best way is the direct way, of course, still within the sacred boundaries of etiquette. Try the following:

"Pardon my forgetfulness but I cannot seem to recall meeting you before."

"Wonderful. So where and when did we meet, again?"

    If this doesn't work:

"Regrettably, I still fail to recall the situation you mention."

If she keeps bugging the hell out of you:

"I insist that you must have me confused with someone else. I wish you good luck on your further search."

    Works like charm for me.

@Chevalier, of course I'll try this... Sacred boundaries of etiquette, of course!

    I am surprisingly not hungry.

Y'know, it's weird. I never used to drink coffee, never being before I went to Crete. Now that I'm back from Crete, :coffee2: is fantastic.

Now I need to buy me a prober coffee maker.

@Deathmage - you've likely got a muscle strain in one of your trapezius at the back of the neck. I get these fairly frequently :( .

Best treatment is heat - a hot water bottle/heating pad/microwave hand warmer/etc applied directly to sore part of neck (wrapped in a towel if it's REALLY hot) and maybe a mild pain-reliever.

    Hope this helps! :)

Worse yet, there weren't any good looking girls there either! :flaming: :rolling:

@Lai: Hehe. My own coffee fondness also got a kick in Greece. Not like I hadn't drunk coffee before but in Greece I was the one who had two coffees for breakfast because of inability to digest anything else. ;) I was young and slim, only seventeen... :shake: Drinking warm beer all the time, partying till two or four, getting up for a day of sightseeing around sever or eight. IIRC I slept 20 hours over the whole two weeks there.

@Kitrax: Maybe they just wore decent clothes, so you didn't notice. :p

    Another day, another Carlinism[tm]:
(and tell me you don't do this yourself :) )

When I'm working, and the television is on, I always tune in a program I like. If I'm going to ignore something, I want it to be something I enjoy.

EDIT: Yay! New gem!

@ HB - Saying by George Carlin, a comedian.

@ Chev - There's just something about Greek coffee, isn't there?

Mmm... Retsina is good. Though I'll need to buy more soon.

*shudder* Cannot stand Ouzo. The flavour is not one I like.

Give me the raki and I'll be happily drunk after 3 shots.
