    Apparently there are a lot of pissing contests here on SP. Now I may be wrong, but wouldn't that ruin your computer? :hahaerr:

    Just bought 12 textbooks for school. Sad how 12 books for 2 courses can cost so much money.

    I hate parts of university life.

    @lai - ty for explaining; yes 'Carlinism' is my term for a quick little one-liner from one of George Carlin's books (brain droppings, Napalm & Silly Putty and When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?). And now for today's:

    Here's something you can't do by yourself: practice shaking hands. :p

    ======

    Got back from work today, and it didn't suck as bad as it used to! Maybe I was just going through a funk or bout of depression...

    I'd b*tchslap someone for a smoke right now. I miss it. I've been at sixes and sevens for the past week, unable to concentrate on any computer games. I've resorted to my stand-bys of Angband and The Sims.

    @ Ara: Ever notice how a joke always seems funny when you tell it, but it doesn't get the results you'd hoped for?

    @Fel - Had the monkey removed 3 years ago. It's his nagging voice that whispers in my ear, "Those people are too young to smoke! You better take those nasty cigarettes away before they cause those kids serious harm!" Bad monkey! :evil: And the people that ditch a half smoke butt drive me batty. They cost around $10 a pack up here and the waste of it... :grr: Don't they know there are homeless people out there who can't afford a pack of cigarettes?!? ;)

    @lai - I'd say sleep, hipocrite that I am.

    @HB - Yeah, he's a very popular stand-up comedian, but I think you're right in that he's basically stayed within USA. :hmm:

    Ever hear of 'the Seven Words You Can Never Say On TV"? That's his bit.

    @kuemper - /me Shock The Monkey (sry for the pun) BAD monkey; quit whispering in her ear! :mad:

    Oh, and I got a nibble in the job hunt, y'all - warehouse worker position to replace my current stress-maker of 'Customer Service'. (hopehopehopehope) :D Lesse, I'll take less money, (no more med bills for various ailments that are cropping up due to stress symptoms) more physical labour (I *need* the exercise), and even travel across town to work (currently that call centre is about two blocks from my apartment) Cross your fingers for my wednesday morning interview!

    Okay, and HERE'S a random babbling ala Gallagher - another S/U comic - I think he's more international, tho...

    "Why do they call them 'apartments' when they're all stuck together like that?" :cool:
