I am currently contemplating drinking to blank the images I'm seeing on televsion from my mind.

Is this a good idea?

 

Generally not. Quite frankly, forgetfullness is not guaranteed, and the images are still there.

While I don't live in those areas, I spend a week plus every year in the Gulfport, MS and Lumberton areas, and have many friends there.

So far, I've only heard about a handful, and lot are still unaccounted for.

 

@kitrax, your girl friend could drive to work with you, take car home and then drive self to work. However this leaves the problem of your getting home. Maybe a co-worker could drive you to bus stop?

The one job I haven't heard back from since May has told me that there's at least 10 hours for me, maybe more each month...

 

10 hours a month? I sure hope it's a $100 an hour job.

As for me...I'm thinking of taking the job regardless of my transportation issues. Maybe I'll just call a cab.

I'm addicted to the RP in the SPS forum...there's so much I want post, it seems like I'm writing a novel instead of RPing.

The fridge at work smells, all the staff that were let go last month kindly left all their milk behind, I wont go into the details, Im sure ya know what happens after a month has gone by... mMMMmmmm miiiiilk...

 

Dentists are very evil people who take lots of money for doing very little - no wonder they have the highest suicide rate of any profession - they probably can't live with their vileness!

 

Grrr... the apple pie was a fiasco. teh kitchen is still too ill-equipped for proper bake-fu.

 

No we just hunt them down, kill them and make it LOOK like a suicide, they all deserve to perish!

 

@chev - Why would I want to remain friends with someone who was my lover? All I'd be thinking of was what a twit he/I was. I suppose it depends on the breakup, but I still don't want to be friends with an ex.

I am way too sleepy now. Then again going to bed at 2:30 am and waking up 6 hours later could do it.

I really need to buy some so these mornings won't be so hard.

 

@kuemper: If he/she isn't worth keeping as a friend, he/she wasn't worth taking as a lover. On the other hand, why break up if you still get along so well. I have several friends who used to be what you'd call dates but the circumstances are somewhat special. In most cases, trust is so shattered that friendship doesn't make much point. My "exceptions" come from the fact that there was no deception on those girls' part. If there has been any deception whatsoever, as cheating or lying or similar, friendship is practically out of question. However, what I meant was either starting relationships with friends only or working on friendship as well as romance if the person is a new acquaintance. Not "staying friends". You can't really stay friends with someone who's never been a friend in the first place. Also, I believe that pulling the "let's stay friends" line after the average statistical break-up caused by cheating and general annoyance insults the real friends. Friends are people who care and who don't cheat. Recently, I've told a friend or two that if he wouldn't care to have the newly met girl as a friend (if she weren't interested "this way"), then why bother getting into a relationship with her?
