Many a cake is all pretty on the surface, but you could trim the sides a little.

Somebody hasn't been getting enough corn have they ?

If a watched kettle never boils how come an unwatched one doesn't boil instantly ?

If I'm walking backwards for christmas how will i know when I've got there ?

And even in your own house you match the socks going into the washing machine, you transfer everything to the tumble dryer; and when it comes out of the dryer you have at least one odd sock (once it was 4 all different colours) how does that happen ?

 

Anyone know where Olimikrig is? I kinda miss him... another day of school. Life is a never ending circle.

Ye know not of cat hair, I see. Even magic has no effect against the thinnest of hairs.

My mom has a friend with 10+ cats, a couple dogs, and...something else I can't remember right now; I saw her take a Ziplock bag out of the fridge and then remove a hair from it. The skinny little thing had pierced the plastic through-and-through, coming out the other side and leaving two teeny holes.

I'm in the US, so I (usually) sleep between 0800 and 1600 server time. Today I woke up a couple hours early; blargh.

 

As for the college/university distinction - in Canada they are similar but colleges are lesser (often vocational) institution that are mostly attended by those who can not get into a University.

Last night was very weird, I had only 17 trick or treaters. I bought mini-chocolate bars for 70 @ 2 pieces each so I have over 100 chocolate bars left. That is a pretty low turn out but it was the fact that nine of the 17 had NO COSTUME.

I had kids as young as about six years old without costume. In the 15 years that I have been giving out candy I have never had more than a couple kids without costume and before last night they were always the kids who were IMHO too old to be trick or treating.

 

Kuemper hangs her head in sorrow. The Spam test given by Master chevalier will not be completed through no fault of her own.

'For my thirty uses of the Spam yesterday, ofelix countered with one,' she whispers to herself. Rubbing a hand over her short-cropped hair, she trails a finger along the half a meter length of braid hanging behind her right ear. 'Padawan forever, I guess.'

 

"Be patient and have faith in the Spam, young Padawan. Padawan Ofelix has not given up yet and may still surprise you in one way or the other."

Master Chevalier's face lightens up a bit.

"And have faith in the teachings of the Order and the justice of the Council."

Master Chevalier levitates away and divines the will of the Spam with regard to Padawan Ofelix.

 

And so the SPAM is alive and well.

Methinks the bone-bag doth not quite get it yet. My hairs can Phase through magic and into solid matter. You cannot filter that which is not there.

But what about if we cover them with tar ?
Or extra strong hair gel? Or summon fleas from 1000 camels and make your paws to short to scratch?

 

Gonna end up a big ole pile o' them bones.

 

I'm going to go curl up in a corner with my painful headache and avoid doing anything too strenuous today.

 

The trick is to wake up...

Felt tired and laid down for a little nap...
... and stumbled into a weird dream
... full of strangers
... of partying, two girls
... getting wasted, smoking
... and after all of it came to an end I could not find my car. I knew I parked it somewhere. (Never mind I dont have one anymore and dont give myself over to sufficient intoxication at weekends to lose orientation.) In this dream I wandered about, in search of my mode of transport, through a city that became increasingly unfamiliar to me... streets I recognized less and less. It was all too abstruse...

... and I realized that this could not be real. Inside a dream I suspected I was dreaming! Yet more strange: While dreaming I remembered this... trick... to pinch oneself in the leg to ascertain the dreamy nature of the situation. A conscious decision in a dream! Never have I experienced such. It worked, too. Once I knew I was inside a dream world I willed myself to wake up... fought to the surface of consciousness. And although I was awake, I could not move right then and there as my body was still in this paralysis that takes hold while one dreams.

It was all so odd. Have to type it down. Sadly Tal did not build an Archive of Dreams here... so the Babbling it is.
Really, what an odd experience.

 

@Felinoid Oh well if you want be like that as a Bongmeister I invoke the power of the bong to create a charged sub-space anomaly which attracts any phased material thereby destroying it forever. Let that be an end to it and i'll leave your fur alone if stop chewing on my bones

@Undertaker and DS - you'd have an easier time shaving one of the other cats on BoM. Jaguar and Carcaroth spring to mind.

Back into playing KotoR and now all I think about is Carth. Am I demented? He's a hunk, what can I say? He sure does make it hard to play with the Dark Side.
