    Sweet, sweet silence.

/me hands kuemper a box of chocolates

I will say, completely losing my temper and snapping at them shut them up pretty quickly. I probably shouldn't do that though.... Frightening the younger housemates isn't always the best idea, is it?

    @Lai:
Yeah, you only get so many "snaps" before it becomes ineffective and you have to kill one of them just to shut the rest up.

Getting behind munches serious [censored]. But at least I can catch up on some sleep, 'night y'all.

i should've taken marketing management instead of economics...

i've got to read another 300pages for another midterm and my friend in marketing just told me how he was hassled for an hour or so because he had to wait for his classmate to answer their "take-home" midterm before he could copy it! :bang:

Life is like a bookcase and happiness is candy on the top shelf and you're a four year old who can't reach. Just don’t be surprised when the whole lot crashes down on you when you climb up to reach it and the candy falls further out of reach… and then you die.
    I'm in doomy mood today.

Sorry to hear that dude, but you forgot about the day when you slap the side of the bookcase and becuse you hit it in precisely the right spot, a vibartion is set up that pushes the candy off right into your lap.

They are rare but they do happen, keep the faith.

    And.....

Or you could use a trick I once saw in an episode of the A-Team: Hannibal and Murdock attach hairdryers to binliners, and then affix them to garden chairs, using the hot air from the dryers to float themselves over a prison wall to safety. Similarly, you could use such ingenuity to reach the candy in safety.

After all, if it was on the A-Team, it's bound to work! :hahaerr:

@ kuemper: ooh, DVD please. ;)

    /me draws SPAM-sabre in anticipation

But keep in mind that I mentioned 4 year old (too young to kick the bookcase or to construct A-Team devices ;) )

As for long-lasting illnesses...I had the whooping cough some time ago. It lasted about six months. Made me vomit an entire meal once, before I digested even a bit of it.

Wow, by surfing a governmental site about film classification I've found that The Rocky Horror Picture Show . Is R (17+) in the US, 14A in Canada, and G (All ages) in Québec. Okay that's kinda weird.

Where's the :coffee: ? It's going to be a long night, and caffeine is my friend.

I actually had a decent night's sleep and yet I'm still feeling sleepy. I don't get it

There's no violence or swearing in the movie, iirc, and no nudity either. Just a bit of trannying. The R in the US sounds like the conservatives talking. "Tim Curry corrupts our nation's youth!"

/me handles a pot of nice Java, coffee anyone

I'm not sure but I think it's still banned in South Africa because of the cross-dressing, suggestions of auto-eroticism, homosexuality, aliens and generally being a sweet transvestite from transexual Transylvania

 They must have strange broadband in NZ.

The 4 y/o should make  at the more susceptible parental unit (preferrably a grand-something).

There are Little Nell's twin peaks peering out over her merry widow during the floorshow.

    Favored Enemy: Pesto Sauce

I had heartburn and/or indigestion this morning around 4a. Thank the gods for Mt. Dew; the only thing that gave me relief!
