/me wonders why eight always has that "silly/drunk" smiley as message icon.

Come to think of it, actually I don't (wonder *why* that is) :p :shake: .

/me passes 8people a mug of nice hot chocolate.

Damn, eating something else than those blasted ramen noodles feels good. I payed the last of my debts in the afternoon, and then I order Domino's Pizza with my bro... yum :p

It's probably the first time in nearly 5 months that I am eating something good.

While we're talking about cold, my ex always said that when she slept besides me, there was no need to crank up the thermostat because I was a living thermostat. :D I take my pride in that.

Well, the custom we ordered WAS good... a basic pepperoni and cheese topped with as much meat as possible... :yum:

Up in Canada, Domino's one of the best pizzas I tasted in my whole damn life.

If I had to go five months without eating anything good I'd go ballistic. Then I'd probably become a Hannibal Lecter-type culinarist.

So everybody, wrap all your troubles in bacon and have a feast.

Bacon is the mistress I've turned to. I still love corn, I'll always love corn, but it just wasn't meant to be. I sincerely hope corn is happily growing in a wavy field somewhere, and make others happy the way it made me, popping and in flakes and in all of its many many wonderful different ways. If only I could've done the same for corn, things could be different now.

My wife is cooking pizza for us tonight. And that will include bacon which she pre-cooks with caramelised onions before adding them to her homemade pizza base. Yum.

Life in my household is... well, I'm not sure what it is. I'm working 14 hour days, my female roomate is working 12 hour day, and my male roommate, who has been covering the chores, had fairly extensive surgery one one hand, and is not even permitted to grip a piece of paper with it.

The kitchen sink is a nightmare right now...

@Harbourboy - Your wife cooks the same way I do. Mmmm caramalized onions. They take far too long to make but they taste heavonly.

@Susipaisti - Corn is good. I always add corn to my multi-vegetable salad and it just isn't right without it. Cornbread is good too with chili.

@Arabwel - I know this was a couple pages back but that little clip of The Shining was great. He almost came across as not entirely creepy.

    No more Woody Allen!

My eye's gone all wonky today; vision is blurred and letters are squishier than normal?

I had meatloaf and mashed taters with butter for supper. :yum: I finished off my Hot Tamales. Yay, more cavities!

I really wish they'd stop doing that bit at the end of the Daily Show where John Stewart talks to Steven Colbert (the Colbert Report is on right after it). If you really need to do that, at least shift it to the beginning of the Report instead so we can have the full half-hour of the good show. I don't give a cr*p what they have to cut out of the Report, just give me my Daily Show! :p

There's snow here that appears to be staying on the ground. Ick. I highly dislike snow. It's cold. And wet.

And we have to shovel it. :bang:

The good thing about new snow is that it covers up ugly city crap.

 So long as everyone is sharing about snow, I guess it's about time I related my experience. Three days ago I had my Tuesday night class:

-Rain and snow as I wait for the bus
-An abnormally unproductive hour on the bus
-Rain and snow on the way into the building
-Three brain-liquefying hours of lecture with occasional SP breaks
    -Still raining and snowing outside
-Realize the bus isn't coming after half-an-hour and go back inside
-Play BG2 (Quayle) until the battery gives out with almost no warning; no saves remain
-Head out to the bus stop 10 minutes before it's supposed to come, to make absolutely sure I catch it
-25 more minutes of freezing rain and snow before the bus comes
-Can't type my new ideas for fear of water damage to my laptop; not sure I would have been able to type anyway due to the shivering
-When I get home more than an hour later, I can't remember them! :wail:

All this with just a jacket on. My fur still smells. :shake:

Yeesh, just remembering it made me cold and tired; 'night y'all.
