Sigh, I just finished one of those meetings where I was the only person present for audit but the other party decided to bring along senior executives for back-up. The really crazy thing is that the overall theme of the meeting was "All is well and quite frankly there isn't much of a chance of anything going wrong" - and everyone was well aware of this before the meeting started.

Apparently senior executives here have nothing better to do then sit in on meetings so they can nod their heads and say "I have no concerns".

Did they provide a free breakfast/lunch? At least the meeting wouldn't have been totally pointless.

Try shopping in liquidation places Undertaker. You can find quality "refurbished" items for a lot less than the original price. You have to make sure and save enough money to buy yourself a present so nobody has to know that you spent a little less then you had too ;)

The doors are in. The kicker happened when I went to cook lunch. I'm reading my book while waiting and mom-in-law trots into the kitchen, complaining because it's too cold. The workmen were going in and out and had 3 doors off in the kitchen/dining room areas. :toofar: I said, loudly, 'You have no reason to complain; *you* ordered the damn doors.'

We are having baked ham with maple sauce, mashed potatos and fries. :yum:

EDIT: /politely picks up Enagonios and drops him over the Top 20 Posters wall

Congratulations, kuemper! But your ordeal is not yet over. A single task remains:

Prove your superiority over Enagonios for the next twenty-six...*ahem* twenty-four hours. If you are still in a better position by 22:00 tomorrow, I shall crown you the newest SPAM Master. :D

(Or you could just whip Kitrax; either way. )

    EDIT:
:whoa: I'm up to #17 now; take that, Oaz! :p

    Evening, peeps :D

Information meeting tonight for a program at school...decided not to go for the architecture degree... it was too much trouble. We'll see what happens...

The platinums are okay now! They look pretty slick. I like them. And the holes have adjusted to the size of the new rings, so I don't piss everywhere except in the bowl anymore...

The Queen of Spam asks and I deliver (half way down, your majesty):
    Enrique and Antonio

I wonder if we should have an SP pool on when Felinoid (and to a lesser degree, myself) get that rogue stone. All proceeds go to Tal, of course.

Sometimes I wonder if the only reason that people post all the time is to get a big thread count. Where is the love y'all?

    :smash: Hear Here! :smash:
The snow is here, and let me tell you, driving around town today was a F***ing B****!

No one remembers how to drive in snow! I'd say that 50% of the drivers on the road didn't have their lights on. Most people were going *way* too fast on the un-plowed/salted roads, and EVERYONE was going *way* too slow on the roads that were plowed! :bang:

I was only about a mile away from my apartment when I hit traffic on the main roads...no accidents, just people driving way too slow...needless to say, it took me 45 minutes to finally get home! :flaming: If I'm going to be stuck in traffic that long, I'd better see some idiot's car on fire or something to make it all worth while...but nooooo. :grr: :almostmad:

I F***ing hate Utah, and I wish I could afford to move back to California. :rolling:
