    Well I made some more shortbread. Having tried a recipe with salted butter and a recipe without salted butter I actually prefer the one with salted butter.

    Since I managed to give away 3 batches of cookies so far these ones are for us. I put 1/2 a marachino in the middle of each and I'm going to dip them 1/2 in chocolate so they resemble monster eyes. Everybody needs a little christmas monster on the holidays.
