@Saber - Welcome to the real world. Sometimes you are foced to do things you don't like.

Speaking as a parent, keep that in mind next time you want something from the overlording paternal unit. Or maternal unit, since the deleted portion is mother.

I got a couple cr*p gifts of polyester slacks. Thus is the problem of gift-getting from a women who is continually 'flashing'. I'm sorry, but I like comfy clothes that actually keep me warm!

We're having spiral cut, boneless ham with maple glaze, au gratin potatos, corn and cinnamin rolls with cream cheese icing for dinner (noonish meal).

 

@kuemp: This discussion would rapidly slip into dangerous territory... speaking as an abandoned kid: My father does not respect me or like me, and the opposite is also true. We're worlds apart.

I am now posting on my PC with a whole gig of Kingston life time gaurenteed RAM. Posting isn't much faster but everything else runs much better. It sure beats the old 256.

@Brallock: No complaints about Kensington. Half a gig for me the previous August. IIRC on one chip but I can't recall. It's just I put an end to buying noname parts (decided to stick with lower parameters but more certain manufacturers), so I don't end up under the desk with a screwdriver so often anymore.

@kuemper: Good for you. Putting on flashy exposing clothes for immediate attention gain is so easy that many women forget they aren't going anywhere with that. Well, anywhere good, at least. Some of the clingy or low-cut or leaving large areas bare stuff looks good but most of it is so cheap that it makes guys pity themselves for staring.

 

Got my gifts today, some nice stuff: A bunch of CDs, 20+ books (ordered from SP ), Some new video games, a new baseball glove, and a kickass set of headphones... being a kid has some great upsides . And we donated a water buffaloe to a family in an Asian country... cool!

Well, my dad did not end up making me go to church. I slept instead . But now he is also infuriating me... he got angry at me because I didn't want to help him make a list for a party he's having. I'm sorry if I don't know any of his friends. It's kind of hard to sit there and think of people I don't know.

Christmas is almost over, got some bunchs of cd some got stuff, a watch, chocolates, a DVD burner an overall good christmas!

 

OMG, I'm sorry. I meant 'flashing' as an older woman going through menopause (m-i-l is continually hot and wears thin polyester shirts and pants), not 'flashing' as in showing off a lot of bare skin. Hubby's wigging out because it's his mother and the picture is just...
