Black, eh? That just reminds me of Angel, because apparently it never goes out of fashion so he dosen't need to waste time thinking about what to wear.
I like his duster. Looks cool.

My friend thinks that any guy who wears pink is gay. I just think that they are more likely to wear pink.

 

No, straight guys can wear pink, and its fine, in fact, it is quite the fashion nowadays. I personally don't like it, though.

And they are more likely to wear pink because they don't care about the manly stereotype which excludes pink, I think.

 

I see. Well, I haven't seen anyone 'round here lately that wears pink and is a guy.

 

Pink is just too damn bright and perky.

Colors aside, I think that "secure" men who wear pink are lying to themselves...

 

I haven't worn pink since I got my butt kicked in the third grade when my mom made me wear a pink shirt to school. My daughters look pretty in pink though. I did like Keumpers link to Pennsylvania Pink very much. I don't care if guys want to wear pink, it's just not for me.

But on a man...? Well, everyone is free to dress however they want, I guess.

I personally prefer black.

 

I'd say that if it isn't clothing then pink might be acceptable. As long as it is just a highlight and not a solid streak of the colour. Just remember - Pepto Bismal (not sure about the spelling) is very pink and you only generally look at it when your guts are trying to explode southward.

At any rate, Pepto-Bismol sucks. I personally prefer Tums, especially the soft chews one.

But then again, I only get heartburn after mixing Habanero peppers and salsa stuffed pizza with Diet Dr. Pepper. Nasty mix, but oh so good.

Sorry to hear that, kuemper. Avoid the following:

Offal foods such as liver, kidneys, tripe, sweetbreads and tongue.
Excessive amounts of red meat.
Shellfish, fish roe and scallops.
Peas. lentils and beans.
Alcohol intake should be reduced. Two glasses of beer a day or less is sensible. On special occasions you can drink more.

and then there is this:

Weight loss may be very important.
Medication for high blood pressure may need to be altered.

And check with a Doctor. Gout is no laughing matter.

I forgot: Drink lots and lots of water.

 

The fact that people actaully eat that stuff is just sick!

I saw a cow's tongue, brains, tail, liver, and intestine (tripe) all next to each other in the meat isle last night...needless to say, I almost puked.

Who the hell eats cow brains?!?!

I'll stick to the chuck roats, t-bone steaks, and ribs thank you very much.

 

One of my brothers has a thyroid condition and he develops gout from time to time because of the medication he takes.

@ DoTW now what makes you think that I have to think like a man to catch your drift? Or is that unladylike?

I'm actually going to go to bed before midnight tonight. I finished playing the remake of king's quest 2 and I've made my visits to SP so I really have no more need to compute....except I think I haven't checked my email lately. Better go do that first.

@ Nakia - You googled gout didn't you . I just did and in one of the first sites suggested, I found the advice you gave to Kuemp.

Someone should make a poll about who eats offals. That might be interesting.

 

I slept today for 12 hours Thats about twice as long as I normaly do.

 

Well...my 3 days off is quickly comming to an end...I have to go back to work tomorrow at 7pm. But hey, on the plus side, I only work 3 days this week, and then I'll have 4 days off! Man this schedule is so awsome.

The only way it could get better from here on out is if they decide to give me another raise in about 3 months when they make their decision to hire me on as a full-time employee instead of an 'interim' employee. They already gave me $0.40 raise during my 2nd month working there. Hell, I know people who are lucky when they get a $0.25 raise after their yearly reviews.

 

Jack's at school, woohoo! Now I have the morning to do whatever I want
