Hi peoples I'm back and I have questions

@Ofelix what were you doing talking to my ouma (great-grandmother) in french, which she didn't understand so you translated to yiddish each time you tried the french?

@kuemper and DotW why were you playing hide and seek in a maze with mom's lawyers ?

Yes folks I've had my first SP related dream; Ara was there in the background going "ooh shint things and choccies *glomp*"

Went and changed my publicly displayed name from Ichor to Iku-Turso. Any objections?

Allright, so it's not exactly a groovy name, but it's a nod towards finnish folklore..so there.

It is always a little confusing when people change their names.

Hey, long time no see, Dad! Actually, I haven't seen mum's lawyers for a while - I guess they are preparing something. Be wary, dad.

Ex-Ichor: Just don't change PDN too often. I did, and Tal smoked me because of that.

Okay, so the exam looms. DOes ayone know anything about William Blake's poetry, or Shakespeare's Measure for Measure? Please? I have to get an A to get into University....

:grr: I've got a class that I should be in right now, but the teacher never showed up! And it's a computer-delivered class too, with this being one of the few classes that we actually have to go to, which means that I'm going to be wondering what the hell happened until he deigns to tell us via the Electronic BlackBoard.

Well, I think Ichor sounded better, but that's just me. It's your call, but make sure that whatever nick you pick is what you want to be known by, not just something you want to be called for now only to change it later on a whim. (As Shadow Scorpion / The New Order / Disciple of the Watch can attest to. ;) ) As I understand it, being able to change your PDN is a privilege so that you can have a name that's most suited to you without having to go through mods and whatnot. Repeated changes are frowned on, but changes to suit you better are fine. :)

Just a big tyvm for telling us. :thumb: Some people change their nick and leave the rest of SP guessing as to who they are. ;)

My @$$ of a husband rebooted my computer this morning. :toofar: We had a nasty row - I finally got sick of his constant music playing and Serenity playing that I steamed off. Thusly, a screaming match and the rebooting. I'm saying that he start the pettyness, so I hope he remembers when my revenge comes to the fore. Jerk. :flaming:

As a Finnish person I must say "Iku-Turso" sounds hilarious. Keep it, I say. It's groovy enough.

@Shell you don't need medicinal reasons, the rule I observe is Because we can, and it's fun :)

Stick with Iku-Turso. 1) Tal doesn't like a lot of name changing and you don't want to be devored by a red dragon or a pink one either.
    2) Name changing can get very confusing especially if the person is a regular poster.

I sort of changed my name once. I dropped the Nightshadow for proprietary reasons. Only one Nakia allowed on this board. :heh:

I was wondering when this would come up and who would bring it up. :shake:

Wow, technically, I've been immortalized in SP folklore. :heh: What can I say, I regularely need change, a direct result from my über-chaotic nature. Stagnation drives me crazy.

New Order? As in that electronic band from the 1980s that had that song 'Blue Monday'? Cool.
