Nostalgia is brought about by curry sauce and piano duets.

I missed the peak of my teenage life because I was pining for a woman. Jeez.

Nevertheless, 2002 was a year of many ups and downs, and I've only just come to realize this. Sigh.

Time for a new perspective, at college... ulp...

 

I feel really sick atm...

Tomorrow we have a heaf test at school...

I'll be drugged at the time...

but I am still terrified like hell, I really don't want it but my mother is making me! I am going to end up attacking someone I just know it...

A breakdown of the various ranks in the Singapore Armed Forces.

First, I shall list the conscripted/unwilling ones.

Recruits: Shaven scalps, perpetually confused about everything and salutes anyone with more than an inch of hair upon their heads.

Privates: Still confused, though trying to hide it beneath a veil of false confidence. At least they don't salute everyone and greet them at the top of their voices.

Lance-Corporals: Loud, vulgar, uneducated and generally stupid. Makes up the majority of the troopers and grunts.

Corporals: Cynical and bitter. Habitually insults superiors with innuendoes and veiled words. Will do anything to get their superiors in trouble with the higher ranking commanders. They are mostly support personnel such as signalers (ME!), medics or combat clerks.

Third Sergeants: Extremely similar to corporals, only that they get more pay and they act as ideal scapegoats and human shields for the officers, particularly the 2nd Lieutenants. 3rd Sergeants can be leaders of troopers or commanders of support personnel.

2nd Lieutenants: The least of the officers, this specimen suffers from delusions of grandeur. With his head stuck mostly up his ass, he issues orders that are virtually impossible or utterly stupid and impractical to carry out by his men. When trouble comes in the form of higher ranking officers, the 2nd Lieutenant tends to pick up the nearest corporal or 3rd Sergeant and use him as a shield, tossing aside the unfortunate bastard after that. Has a definite superiority complex.



And now, the regular personnel, i.e, the morons who signed on in the army and who possess the misguided notion that they are actual soldiers.

All the ranks from 2nd Sergeant to General can be summed up thus: ^&%$&^%$* bastards that lack a pair of functioning testicles!!!!!


Conclusion: Singapore soldiers=useless bastards with the combat capability of a used condom. Yes, they stink, they're limpy and wet and are pretty disgusting in their incompetance. Between their stupidity and the endless backstabbing of the corporals and 3rd sergeants, the Singapore Armed Forces are a pushover for any determined person armed with at least a wooden pole, or failing that, a brick wrapped up in a sock (RINCEWIND! MY IDOL!).

I had a physics exam today... it was boring and hard, but I came home one hour earlier than normal.

That would mean Dutch laws in Singapore, Shura! And you know what that means? In stead of death penalty for smoking pot (?), you can by it on every corner of the street, legal! Isn't that horrible?
