Argh! My trip to Europe has problems: In Rome, we can't stay where we thought we were, and in Barcelona, the person we were going to stay with isn't coming back to Barcelona until 2 days before we leave.

    GRRRR.

Happy mothers day Shell! Hope you order pizza/whatever food you don't have to make and have someone else clean up.

Breakfast served by the little ones can be nice but might involve questionable ingredients like a side of gummy worms.

Meh. I have had enough speaking French. My coursework is annoying me, and I'm beginning to loathe Marcel Pagnol.

    Okay, couple of things:

    1. The Chinese WOW/Coke advert is so cool
    2. Isn't 'Fighter' the stupidest term ever invented? Has anyone ever heard anyone outside DnD called a 'fighter'? Why not 'Warrior'?

EDIT: Ofelix, you od my French work, I'll do your english. Agreed?

Daie; Agreed, though know that I was only showing your error, I hold you no grudge for such.

You know what? I haven't ate since this morning and I'm not hungry, and it's 15h30 for crying out loud! This is weird.

*Sigh* I have a presentation tomorrow that I am frantically researching for.

Of course, the books that I want are not in the library and whoever has them should have returned them on the 4th of March. They're still not back yet. :grr:

I should have started this sooner. :bang:

Because it was already used. 'Warrior' is the name of the class group that includes fighters, paladins, and rangers. The same way that mages and specialists are all 'Wizards', clerics (and all specialty priests) and druids are both 'Priests', and thieves and bards are both 'Rogues'. I believe 3e did away with the groupings, though, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't change it to warrior, especially when they already changed 'Mage' to 'Wizard' for no good reason, and 'Thief' to 'Rogue' IIRC.

And I have heard a number of people called fighters, but I think they'd be better classified as brawlers. ;)

A baby struggling to live after being born, either due to prematurity or birth defects; a person coming back from a debilitating illness or accident; generally anyone/thing surviving against the odds of nature.

I have some funky Trojan Horse virus lurking in my WIN folders. Meh.

3e turned "Warrior" into an NPC class. That's why you still have Fighter. Also "Fighter" covers very thing from Huscarl to Knights to Pikemen.

Thief became Rouge so it could incorporate cut purses, thugs, cat burglars, etc...

I also believe mage became a generic term in 3e because of the why they set up the monster manual in 3e (As Ogre Mage characters are sorcerers instead of wizard/mages).

Just saw V for Vendetta... great movie. The only question: is the guy who played the dictator the same guy who played Winston in the movie version of 1984? He looks the same, but he would be too old... that would be quite ironic.

    School tomorrow. Ugh!

    Tired...

    its only 830...

Have you ever noticed how delivering bad news isn't nearly as fun as delivering good news?

Oh, and I'm going to start doing this once-a-day thing where I give you a variant of Murphy's Law. We'll see how long it lasts.
