Use frozen food, preferably a roast or ham. Fish is right out. I saw that ep of Murder, She Wrote. :shake:

Speaking of crime, if I ever had Columbo say, "Just one more thing." to me, I'd confess.

Try yelling and screaming at the top of your lungs for about an hour before you call in sick, Brallrock. It gives you that authentic "I'm losing my voice because I'm soooo sick" sound.

I think I aggravated my back today. I should have two days off before I have to work again, so I might be able to work next week...

Well, my phone hasn't asked me to change time and date yet, so I guess it's safe to assume we're still at normal time.

Most computer clocks know when to change the time and will remind you. I count on my computer to remind me and it's never failed.

They must've changed, because I was playing Wolfenstein at 10, and I didn't think I played for 2 hours, but it was 12 when I next looked at the clock. Or maybe not.

Off to read MacBeth, then bed!

I just had a huge scare, I have a patient with an artial line (it is like an IV that goes into an artery and lets us draw blood and get accurate blood pressures without a cuff squeezing their arm) and it started to alarm, I went to check on my patient and there was blood all over his belly. The artial line had come apart and it was pumping on his stomach. A quick twist or two and it was fixed, but then I had to do a total bath and change out all his linen. My heart is still beating like crazy and it was twenty minutes ago.

F***. My laptop is royally screwed. A little accidental trauma and I'm stuck with almost no BG2 until I get it fixed. By 'almost' I mean that some of the saves work but some don't, and I wouldn't put odds on the saves that work lasting long before they run into something else that'll crash the game. Some of my other games might work, but I'm honestly too tired to check them out and I doubt any of them would be at 100% anyway. None of the system tools work (or I would have already fixed it myself by now), so I'll have to take it into the shop tomorrow.

I suppose one of my old game comps might suffice until I get my laptop back, but it's still a load of sh**. :(

Brallrock, give him a salt tablet, tell him to be a man, and to walk it off...

    Question:

What do you get when you take a tired guy, force him to stay awake after working a 12 hour shift to go to a bridal show for 4 hours?

    Answer:

An extremely grumpy guy who would kill for sleep.

What a waste of an entire day. :rolling:
