    Well, actually her birthday was the 24th of May (and I'm guessing it wasn't a monday), but everyone HAS to have a long weekend. :rolleyes:

    Thought so Daie, Here in Québec today we celebrate the Patriot who, in 1837 died trying to kick the British occupation out of the land... Unfortunately they failed... Oh well... At least we got a holiday, it's something I guess :lol:

    For some reason Ofelix's Patriot Holiday reminded me that Canada is the only country to defeat what became the US of A.

    Now if 60 years earlier they had sided with us they could be celebrating...oh never mind this is Whatnots not AoLS or AoDA. :eek:

    Having a day off or extra pay if you work is nice whatever the reason.

    @ Shell - Why don't you send him a bill for the amount of usage he had of your house services...

    -Power
    -Cable
    -Toilet paper
    -Phone time
    -Water (hopefully he did shower once in a while)
    -Chef service (if you did any cooking for him)
    -Maid service (he sounds like he isn't the type to pick up after himself)
    -Psychological counciling for you to get over the trauma of him staying with you ;)
    -the cost of postage to send his damn food
    -etc

    THEN subtract his food cost from your bill and send THAT to him

    No offense taken, Ofelix. I have visited Quebec. It is beautiful, the people were friendly and helpful even when they spoke no English and we spoke no Quebec French or any kind of French. Definitely a land to itself though.

    Canada ain't so bad, y'know? Well, maybe not Quebec, but the rest of Canada is great. We don't get drafted into the army, and that's priceless, because I don't have enough of a temper problem to be in the army :heh:
