    The sky is wetting, I'm convinced I'm being given the cold shoulder, and I can't give blood today because I've got a cold.

    So much for my awesome week...

    My internet was down this morning! Stress! Panic! :mommy:

    It's back, so I'm my normal self. :nuts:

    My dreams have been plagued by Chris Evan's naked chest. Like that's a bad thing. :lol:

    @Ofelix: .bat files and the like. Basically, scripts (aka uncompiled programs) executable by the system. For example, .bat files are a collection of DOS commands like in command line plus a couple of script like-instructions such as goto's or if's and variables such as %1, %2, or errorlevel. In DOS times, they were used to create sort of a starting menu interface. I remember autoexec.bat files reaching several kilobytes of code or menu borders created out of ASCII characters. :D

    "I recently discovered that this rock thing was true. Jerry Lee Lewis was the devil and Jesus was an architect, previous to his career as a prophet."

    No, but what I recently discovered, it was last night, was that there is no 'Time' beyond semantics. It's an ease-of-use concept and not much more. Time is not a dimension, it's just a word to say something more complex.

    But this means that time-travel is not possible. And I think that Time Stop should be reconsidered as well.

    @DS: That's what friends are for. :grin:

    @chev:
    This reminds me of "Freedom Force 2", when Minute Man says about their base computer: "This marvel can store hundreds of kilobytes of information". :lol:

    Oh, joy; it's the best time of year and it's +25C here at Vaasa. Seagulls laughing, sun shining, and the island (Palosaari = Fire Island) pretty much empty from people. Been planning to scout out the coastline, but the best thing is that I got infected by a flu last Sunday after a swimming trip, so now I have a fricking headache and a red nose. :mad:

    So no going out until feeling better. At least I can read Vampire Chronicles, study russian language, and play games. Sucks. :(

    Ironic, Ofelix, I'm reading the book a friend of mine published some year ago, IIRC.

    I woke up at 10:45, then got back into bed and kind of restlessly dozed for 3.5 hours. That was a waste of 3.5 hours.

    I woke up too late to call into work, so I geuss I'll have to make a go of it. If I moan real loudly for long enough, they will send me home. The good news is that I am feeling somewhat better today.

    In other news, I think the copy of Win 98SE I put on this stupid laptop is corrupted, it wont shut down no matter wihich way I tried, finally I just turned it off.
