I stayed up late last night watching the 3rd Series of the Fast Show. I am completely wrecked and no amount of will help - especially as work is stocked with Maxwell house and Nescafe, yuk!

 

Mosquitoes SUCK. Like Woah. Pun Not Intended.

 

yargh, it feels as if college has already started up again. Grrr... all nighters only make me think of school.

 

I hate bees. And wasps. And hornets. And rap music. And marmite. And plasters. And alot of other things.

Yes rap has no redeeming features

 

Let's not get into this again. I like rap, so there.

I'm using m-i-l's sheets for the bed and I feel like I'm sleeping in a hotel room.

 

Therefore, rap is evil. Yet another reason not to like it.

 

But I don't like rap, either

 

Word, bling bling, bitches, hoes, uhhhhh, yeaaaahhhhhhh!

 

I did indeed get drunk yesterday. I've absolutely *no* idea whatsoever how I got home, but I did, and I didn't lose an awful lot of money. Cheap drinks are a blessing.

 

But I like Rap As well

today in How Geeky Ara Is: I am trying to work out the D&D stats of Lordi.

 

Its kinda funny how some people who "like all kinds of music" don't like rap. What's wrong with it? If it is a lot of profanity that you don't like then there are certainly choices you can make, as with all other music. Basically it is a kind of poetry set to a beat and a very important social indicator to specific groups of people.

I like some rap. I like some hard rock, I like some classical, I like a lot of latino, I like a tiny bit of country. Music is art. Not everything is painted the same way or it would be pretty boring. Sometimes you just have to look past what you think and try seeing things for what they are.

I'm not saying that all rap, rock, country etc. is good music. There is a lot of crap but there are good things in there as well.

 

People seem to forget that rap does not always use profanity and urban slang. All I can say is: if you don't like it, don't like it, but don't slam others who do like it. For me, it's not any different than 50s beatnik poetry. *snap, snap*

 

Now all you need is to dump a rug, 33 pennies and a quarter in a dryer to make a beat for the song, then release it.

You're right, we shouldn't bash it if we don't like it. Unless, of course, they come out saying rap is better than our types of music. In that case, DotW will get the dryer, I'll get the pennies and quarter, and Cuch will be talking about bitches/hos/money/sex/drugs/getting shot in the face.

 

And I will twirl my luscious butt in the air.
