    No, it wasn't easy. I take solace to know at least the cat is suffering no more.

    The good point is that I still have my own big black cat, and my bro still has his own resident siamese - it was the stray cat that my bro took in seven years ago that was sick.

    I might get another cat, though - maybe the Flame Point siamese, it has piqued my interest, or maybe another Chocolate Point, like my bro. Either that or a Rex Devon - they look so cool.

    I just physically labored all day... a pretty big accomplishment considering its summer. Moved a ****load of dirt around and mowed a lawn. I'm going to sleep like a rug tonight.

    I'm so glad my summer job is almost over, if it wasn't for all my sweet and beautiful female co-workers I'd never had made it through a single day. I tip my hat to those girls... I'm going to miss them when I have to go back to college.

    I just paid for a sloop. In another couple days, I will start my own crew. It's on a subscription ocean (Cobalt), so we'll see what happens when my free month runs out.

    Sorry about your cat DoTW. I try not to think about how much longer I'm going to have mine - who just walked into the bedroom as I typed this.

    My little son just started walking today! (Aug 3) He was so darn proud of himself that he spent most of the day practicing his new skill and screeching with happiness.

    My sister's come to visit us from Australia. She's a major pain. I guess it could be the age difference, or the fact that we've changed so much and she's still seeing us as her far younger siblings and not adults. But if for nothing else it's just that we live on totally different planets, no make that different solar systems...
