    Bleach is the best disinfectant ever. It'll kill everything (including you if you dip your hand in it too long).

    You mean that it shouldn't be used as handwash?
    :whoa:

    I did wonder why my hands were burning up. I just thought I hadn't applied enough.

    I'm definitely going back towards being a straight-edger. Maybe I'll have a glass of wine with a dinner, or a single beer after a sauna or with a friend, or a taste of whisky when I'd feel like it, but I'm definitely quitting binge drinking and drinking to get drunk. I have more than enough reasons for it. This was a good reminder of one of those reasons.

    @Iku-T
    I used to say that all of the time when I was younger. I had to go completely off the juice all at once to make it stick. That was 17 years ago.

    I want something sweet. How about some chocolate?

    If it comes down to that, then so be it. I'm not losing much if I lose the booze. But it's more the 'going out to party and getting drunk' -types of situations that find me drinking too much. Otherwise I haven't much affinity towards alcohol.

    I have a trouble of knowing my limit in many things, but if I'm not setting my mind on getting drunk, I can have a drink and have a nice evening without having any more drinks, even when I'm partying.

    Butt hurts. Yesterday we had throws in our combat-training and one part of it is to fall right. You'd be surprised how fragile human body is and hitting your ass to the floor for an hour straight certainly won't be doing good to it. It'll be interesting once we come to the actual 1-on-1 matches...

    Eh, don't fall into that trap. Most people who call themselves straightedge become elitists who look down on anyone who has one drink, or one joint, and they become worse than the people they think they aren't.

    Me, I just don't drink, smoke, or have random bouts of sex.

    Work is on hold, I am on call and loving life, I think I'm in heaven.

    As for drinking, know your limits. Drinking for the sake of getting drunk can be the beginnings of a bad habit, but occasionally lettign go and getting plastered (when you have friends around that will keep you out of trouble) is a totally different story.
