Ack...gotta decide my uni preferences by tommorow and be certain I won't change them!!! So frustrating! (Though it is mostly my fault for not being able to get as high a mark as I probably could have given normal circumstances).

I know how you feel shadow lurker, my uni preferences are finalised today.

In other news one of my friends and I are going on a fishing trip up north, hopefully in the coming weeks.

 

I spent £14.99 on 100 sheets of photo paper in Argos, then went into the pound shop and found they were selling 40 sheets for £1.....Aaaargh!

 

Adding on to HB's list... Rachael Ray, Ina Garten, Giada de Laurentis, Sarah Moulton (who is also the executive food editor of Gourmet Magazine). Gayle Gand. Cat Cora. Joan Nathan and Faye Levy don't have their own cooking shows, merely a whole shelf in the bookstore between them. Lidia, the older Italian lady on PBS - where there are a number of female-led cooking shows. "America's Test Kitchen" may be hosted by a guy but the two primary chefs are both women. Also, the Editor-in-Chief of "Cooking Light" magazine and a large part of its test kitchen staff is female.

If you want to know why more of the hosts of cooking shows are male, look at the viewership, and consider who THEY would rather be watching. My money is on Tyler Florence.

My guess is that top chefs have historically been male for the same reason that executives have historically been male - men are afraid of the competition, so they invent lame reasons or use brute force to keep women out of the running as long as possible.

 

I really had to think of something to post here.

Delicious meals and a sexy arse. What more could you ask for in a woman?

 

I could be really rude and coarse but I won't. I could say something about bedroom action, then a nice meal after. Something about oral sex and then a delicious meal.

But I won't. I'm a nice boy, I don't say things like that.

I think every woman needs that at times.

 

Err... for once I agree with Barmy, what is the world coming to?

Mix all of those together and you've got the portrait of the dream woman. But put up with the BS... why would you give someone you love BS? That just doesn't sound right to me.

 

It'd be good if she had a full size snooker table aswell.

Exactly Harbs. No-one is perfect and not many people in the world expect people to be perfect. Everyone makes a clown of themselves, or loses the rag from time to time. Once this lesson is learned, things in life become a lot easier I reckon!

Damn. You know what would be useful? If people gave you everything you needed to actually get work done!
